În calitate de marinari, există o mare diferență între conectivitate în timpul croazierei pe coastă și navigația offshore. Facem pe amândouă, așa că aceasta este o privire de ansamblu asupra tuturor modurilor în care rămânem conectați în apropierea uscatului și în larg.   4. I keep lovin the technical side of your videos (I'm a how to kind of guy) and I have been doing some research into satellite internet/comms. Have you looked at an IsatHub system from Inmarsat? Coverage is global with speeds at 384 kbps, hardware cost of $1400 and a monthly cost of $59.99 for 10MB. It is faster and cheaper than the Iridium and allows internet browsing.

  7. I’m curious if y’all are still using Fi? I use (used) Fi as I travel a lot internationally. But since COVID I’ve been unable to return to the US for more than 6 months and Fi has cut me off. Their TOS says you have to connect to a US tower at least once ever 6 months to maintain service. Only exception is overseas military. So I lost my m data service a couple months ago. Have you ran into the same issue?

  19. Hey, i know its been a while, but I am still catching up on al the episodes. With Starlink now bcomming available would you move to that for conenctivity on boat? I have been testing it in area's that barely have electricity so it should work on boats if all the satelites are up soon. The question is realy do you think stuff ike that can withstand the marine conditions ? Love the channel, the cats and the real world feedback.

  21. You know guys I've been using Google Fi ever since it was a project which is probably been 8 years now if you use the Google Hangout dialer and make your phone calls on the data side it's not $0.20 a minute it's free no matter what country you're in only call them back to the United States

  39. My idea… Download videos to a big arse hard-drive. This way, you have your own Netflix persay for movie time and what not. Get game systems for playing games on-board. Get used to little to no communication. Starlink may be one of those things where you can get reliable internet anywhere you are. Check into that as well.

Please Please please PLEASE please when you put words up on the screen – LEAVE IT UP FOR LONGER THAN 0.75 seconds so that we can ACTUALLY READ IT???????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *PLEASE* (When you constantly 'back up' a video, the crap that shows up on the bottom (like, subscribe, other video suggestions) actually COVER the text on the screen – so it take 3 or 4 or sometimes MORE times backing it up to read your LONG TEXT on the screen that is popping up and disappearing faster than our cat scrambles for under the bed when the doorbell rings….. It is nearly ALL/EVERY SINGLE ONE of your videos. LOVE the videos, DETEST the flash/disappearing comments.
