„Sailing” este un cântec soft rock din 1979 scris și înregistrat de artistul american Christopher Cross. A fost lansat în iunie 1980 ca al doilea single de pe albumul său de debut omonim (1979). Christopher Cross a scris „Sailing” în timp ce naviga pe Lacul Travis. În acel moment, locuia în Austin, Texas. Piesa a fost un succes în SUA, ajungând pe locul 1 în topul Billboard Hot 100 pe 30 august 1980, unde a rămas timp de o săptămână. Cântecul a câștigat, de asemenea, premiile Grammy pentru Înregistrarea anului, Cântecul anului și Aranjamentul anului și a ajutat-o pe Cross să câștige premiul pentru Cel mai bun artist nou. VH1 a numit „Sailing” cea mai „softsational soft rock” melodie din toate timpurile. An amazing voice, well crafted songs with thoughtful and meaningful lyrics, a very good production and an array of talented musicians and guest vocalists too. Awesome
