  4. I for one would never go yacht club. I have read a lot of comments from people that go yacht club and they seem very pretentious and snobby. Plus having your own butler seems to me like modern day slavery. My own opinion. I think cruise lines are getting worse in this whole class system which I don’t like. Because you have more money doesn’t mean you are any better than anyone else and by segregation that is exactly what the cruise lines and in some way the yacht club passengers are made to think.

  13. Honestly, I think it's only worth the Splurge if you have that kind of disposable income. If you're just going to put it onto a credit card that you won't be able to pay off immediately then I think it becomes a financial burden you didn't need to strap yourself with. I would love to sail in Yacht Club, but I can't right now and have to be content with inside or outside rooms. Although I was very lucky on my first MSC Cruise in February. They upgraded me to a balcony at no extra charge.

  14. My wife and I aren't completely antisocial. We make friends easily but we enjoy each other's company the best and we are totally fine being by ourselves. I think the Yacht Club would be a good fit for us, not for the perks, but for the peace, quiet, and relative privacy.

  15. While on the Seaside with my last week we just booked a Yacht Club room on the Meraviglia when it comes to the US for a kid free trip. We are so looking forward to this ship!

  21. Is the menu on The Yacht Club different than in the main dining room. The reason I ask is that I've been on the Divina 4x, and going again this weekend. I love a lot about it, but I have always found the food uninspiring. Wondering if The Yacht Club is much better for dining.

  22. Yeah I guess it would be nice since it cost an additional $4000 USD above the normal fare for a two week Caribbean cruise for 2 ( interior suite )

  24. Hello, just watched your video. I see you made this last year. I know nothing about MSC; but assume the Yacht Club is similar to NCL's Haven. How many total guests does the Yacht Club serve each week? Does it get crowded in the lounge? Thanks have a great day

  27. 11) Premium drinks package included. All top shelf, plus very expensive wines available at dinner. If you've never tried a Disaronna margarita, you don't know what you're missing! Limoncello after dinner is fun too.
    12) Lovely piano and/or violin concerts in Topsail early evening, not available anywhere else on the ship
    13) Amazing service levels out on deck. People waiting on you hand & foot on sea days
    14) At Grand Cayman (a tender port) the butlers walk you to the front of the long line so you have at least another 45 minutes ashore.
    15) You can still enjoy all that the ship offers, and your premium drinks package goes with you
    16) During Covid, I would say Yacht Club will make it much easier to social distance and still enjoy a cruise

  28. I am doing my first MSC cruise February 2022 on Seashore with a Yacht Club. I will admit, I was skeptical about MSC after sailing on RC and CCL. I'm hoping that YC will make this trip over the top!

  36. I’m a solo traveler and MSC abusively offered me an upgrade to this cabin. When the confirmation came in, they were saying on the email that they would charge me for two guests!!!! I tried to retrieve and cancel but guess what? No going back on this fuc**ng scam 🤬🤬🤬

  37. Question(s)? How much extra is the yacht club? Is it per day/per person/per cruise? Does it include a drink package and/or different dining? WI-FI included? Some of the reviews we have read seem to suggest that the normal food is not “that great” compared to other cruise lines. We are in our 50s and now seem to gravitate more towards the Celebrity or Holland America products. Have you done those, and, if so, how would you compare them? Thanks so much in advance! 🙏
