1. AWESOME JOB!!
Thanks so much, there are many sailing budget videos out there but you guys have nailed it!
that was a well researched and wonderfully presented.
helps to keep my own dream alive.
    THANK YOU

  2. No. You don't need to pull that ugly boat out. Just wait for low tide and clean below waterline as needed. You two are ignorant and uneducated…very sad to be you.

  3. Visas? Permits? Are you kidding me? Pay nothing like true pirates. Whoever charges you fees are scammers ripping you off. Don't go there or just go unannounced and screw local greedy law enforcement. I been going everywhere without a visa or fee. Anybody wants to check papers run off if you can or tell them to get lost before you call your embassy and create an international incident. If they insist tell pigs that's it you had enough you will go see the governor your good friend and tomorrow they will be driving a taxi if they are lucky! Works every time. Savvy?

  4. I'm still sailing around the world in my gaff schooner but I don't need to make misleading videos for money. Got lots of Bitcoin. Get a real job you two lazy Brits. I want to vomit.

  5. Wow, just wow. Little advice though … when the weather is bad and the boat is rolling too much, a nice mosquito proof tent costs 80€ and the sleeping equipment around 50. You can watch the boat from the shore lol xD

  6. You are very smart with your money. Keeping your eye on the goal of sailing the world is more important than simple comforts.

  7. Are you not able to anchor a few miles from the main land of foreign countries and anchor a few hundred yards away from say an island that is a few miles from actual civilization? At what point must you check in and let port authorities know of you location. I ask this because I see channels where people are anchored at remote islands where they have not checked in and they spend their days soaking up rays from the boat and spear fishing. Is it also not possible to go ashore in remote islands that say are 20-30 miles from a county and that has no people on it. And Im not talking about going ashore of those remote islands , meaning regardless of whether or not you go ashore to remote islands at what point is it mandatory to check in

  8. You are our inspiration. Keep going as we still need the motivation to go step by step closer to our dream such is sailing around the world.

  9. I'm sure you're aware that your annual costs are MUCH cheaper than on land, certainly in Europe.
I have only ever come anywhere near those kind of figures when living overseas in the third world.
You also speak with Southern accents, so you'll probably be aware of accomodation costs in the London area.

  10. You all REALLY do Do a good job,
At first (a few years ago) we were neutral on this, but now that you’re on your way to Brazil 🇧🇷 we really do see that you do Everything right, way mor so than all the “Other sailing channels we have watched over the years, a Brilliant job & well done to the Both of you…!!! 😎👍👌🥳

  11. I just out of curiosity googled the cost of Sailing around the world and they quoted, although they did state it differs person to person, boat etc… Nearly 10x what you guys are spending lol

Love the quote "We are spending less but living more"

Great video guys, a beautiful life you're living.

  12. The Brompton folding bikes are an excellent form of transport for a yacht. Do you find they need more maintenance and rust prevention than if they were stored on land?

  13. Amazing video!! I was wondering what health insurance and boat insurance are you using? Also based in UK so would greatly help to know what worked for you as there is just so much out there!

  14. I'd quite like to see the rough aswell. The rolly passages and anchorages. The struggle when you have to carry food or fuel
The reality is what I'm here for

  15. Wow! Thanks fir the detailed information and advice from this video and others. Its lovely to to follow your journey around the globe.
The insight you provide along with your personal approach, makes your videos great to watch. 👍

  16. What I am really interested to understand, relates to your sailing background before you embarked on your round the world adventure.

    1. Are you both life long sailors and grew up with parents who sailed?

    2. Did you have to get your yacht masters qualification?

This is interesting as it provides an idea as to how viable a round the world trip is to someone who crewed a bit as a kid and has done a week to get their competent crew qualification.

    Thanks

  17. you guy such a big inspiration, I have a question Do you need check in your passport each time you stop at a country ???
