  1. "You don't need another nav station cause you have that pilot station…" where are you supposed to work with paper charts? Do you rely on electronics exclusively?

  2. No doubt the haul is made modern and very slicky for a racer. The design of the interior is complete crap. As already mention, it will be not the only problem to avoid sun to warm up inside but there are "solutions" that are stupid. Designers are tend to bild a house with windows or a yacht? This is not only present for this model, but to many other brands and models. It looks like Windows 10. When we are talking "designing" everything looks sqare and ugly duckly!

  3. Pluses: Boat seems to go upwind well, pulling 8-9 (but at what TWA?)
Downwind, I would have expected perhaps a little more than 12-13 with a big gennaker and 20knts
Boat looks cool and I love the lighting and interior colour scheme. It has a modern and welcoming clean look.
Finish appears top class. Nice to see something different.

Negatives: Split navstation /comms and switchboard. That little extra galley bench will fill up with crap and the radio will be hard to get to. I hope there's a mirrored AP control at the Helm/s.
Seems to have space/arrangement issues inside. Toby's not a big guy, and for him there's limited headroom. Wet locker looked small (but heated? so that's ncie)
    Sharp corners inside as noted.
Galley bench/fridge becomes useless if you're cooking. "Oh I just need something from the fridge…oh, wtf am I gonna do with all this prepared stuff on the bench?

How waterproof will that main hatch be in a knockdown or rollover situation?
horizontal line recess in the bulkhead will weaken the bulkhead, but i suspect it's still plenty strong.
Complicated rig for 2 handed (couples) cruising.
If one of those constrictor jammers gets fouled, how're you gonna get to it in a hurry?
Heavy: it's 1m longer and 5cm wider than my boat but nearly 3tonnes heavier…(not everyone sees that as a negative, though)

  4. Looks like a very luxurious race boat but a horribly uncomfortable cruiser with too much bending and too much overhead heat in all bit northermost or southernmost climates. Would be horrible in the caribbean and my partner would be good at 5'2" but I would have concussions.

  5. I think the design is fantastic.
But they should have spent a bit more time / money on the interior, this is the type of boat people will take to sea and spend some time sailing, at the moment every edge down below seems to be a right angle. Nothing worse than being thrown into a hard corner when the boats slamming about in rough weather. Could very easily injure yourself.
But really that's just details, hopefully later boats will address this.

  6. The only thing I can say is for the same price you can buy a Dehler 42 with better lay-out and better performance. 😎

  7. It's a new review but I am not at all sure to call this a cruiser. Sure, it got some nice innovative features but it seems to have very little storage space. Crossing the Pacific near.the equator with those roof.windows.without shade just got to get warm as a sauna. Fridge but where.is the freezer? Watermaker?

  8. I like that boat and I agree: "it's minimalistic… economic but doesn't look cheap…" And the "sunroof" is really cute. Just it would be better if it was made the way I've already seen on some boats: narrow but long with tinted glass, including net and cover. Also was only manually opened that very easy but economic.

  9. I don't hate it, but I also don't like it. It is kinda ugly, with cool features. Are you sailing, or are you sitting around in some port on your boat, or motoring your friends around for cocktails? I like sailboats that are more race specific, as I get older I can appreciate sailboats that are more user friendly, but this sailboat just doesn't make a lot of sense for actual sailing.

  10. Love this boat.
A lot of people here for some reason seem to start from the premisse that every sailboat should be a tropical liveaboard cruiser…a bit odd…

  11. Another slammer like hanze, Benetua etc . Just did a long delivery to windward & all these modern boats have gone for interior space forward so anything over 1/2 a meter seas on the nose – slam bang crash , most uncomfortable , OK for the marina living but they are Yachts ?

  12. Living nsar kiel, i know boats well. This one looks cheap inside. All white plastic. If designers have no ideas or missed their job, they call it "special" or "unique" … but it looks cheap and totally boring.

  13. 10:40 "simple and minimalist" .. nicely overwritten the missing warm feeling and inviting look other boats have. No doors but plastic foils to roll down. 2 days on sea with that thing and you will do anything to get from board.

  14. I like some aspect of this boat, the light is welcoming but would be too much in the summer.
Can they install some kind of blinds or curtain so it can be removed when needed?

  15. If all that Glass could be electronically darkened…..not my thing but it would perhaps mitigate some of the massive amount of thermal transference due to the copious transparency! LOL

  16. Oh yeah. I like the luxury machines but things like this and the pogo 30 are what make me think about buying a grown up yacht.

  17. This boat just comes alive on the water. It looks brilliant, has proper shelter when it's crap weather. Nice to see real design that is actually moving forward, rather than reinventing the past.

  18. Super Cool! Add a swing keel and maybe a stick rudder control give you more reach for single handed. May be my new favorite, Not often that I wanted more viewing time, longer length video, But, I love this boat! add 10' and It would be insane! but thats first sub 44' boat I've really been jealous of in awhile. Curious, a comparison with a Pogo 40 or 44 even
