Nice sailor. Yeah the engines were a bit high time. It's very interesting. A hull survey, new lines, and possible engine overhaul. Modern nav/com if it's needed. Question is the hull equipped with sacrificial zinc anodes? These help cut down on corrosion. For the asking price not bad at all.

Does Sampson post have a different meaning over there? As half of what she was calling Sampson posts looked more like single pin bits to me.
I love it, but what/who does it take to sail it? Can a couple keep after everything when it's underway?
Is that a satellite receiver or radar on top of the cabin? Also not to complain but what is the actual sail area? it looks a little skimpy on sails… IMHO. Can't see the top of the mast (ht.)
Rebuild Diesel engines every 5,000 hrs, for safety. This is why the price is a couple of 10’s of thousands less than expected. It’s showing some interior age in the heads, but overall – this is a boat I’d buy – equip with lithium system, and solar + wind and do nothing else! That’s a vessel that’ll get you there and home again! In fact, home could ALWAYS be “just over the horizon”

Really just a perfect sail boat it has every thing you need it might be a little big for single sailing but great for 2 or more people has all the things with smaller boats say i wish i had this it has it
Not much teak and even carries perfect motor boat for days in islands when your using dobble or triple anchor love the pilot house every blue crossing youll want that

What I like best about this boat is that it is a steel hull and could be rekeeled with welding. Wing keel the mast and blade keeled head sail would improve handling and reduce heeling while increasing speed. Then you rebuild the power generation system as Edison generators and electric motor. This provides unlimited electric power without fuel or pollution. That is unlimited water by RO water and unlimited heat and cooling without fuel. What would be the value of a boat properly keeled and powered?
I love this boat, I keep coming back to this video cause the layout is beyond most. Like actual thought was placed in the design.

I beleive due to the yacht being so large and constructed of steel the stove not being gimbled isn't a big deal. Also the stove is orientated bow to stern and not port to starboard.

The stove is not gimballed because it is not on the side of the boat. It’s to the stern. Gimbals would not help it.
