11. I am a middle income, part-time aged-care nurse in Australia, and as such, I will most likely never buy a 30-foot fishing boat, let alone a super/mega Yacht… BUT IF I COULD, i would definitely talk to you first. Thanks again for an informative vid. Kudos.

14. OKTO is my absolute favorite Yatch, but when I saw the new ISA Extra 130 yacht I was very disappointed. Not at all the great look that OKTO has.

15. The "support" yachts are what I'd rather have as a main boat. They have everything that's actually worth doing. I'm not going out to lounge around on a couch sipping martinis. I'd rather explore a real wild beach than hang out on a foldout "beach club" that isn't on a beach at all. Obviously, I don't belong in proper yacht society in the first place – too much old viking in the blood. Where's my longship?! Avast ye dogs, heave-to and report!

25. David, I've got a financing question. I'm getting the impression that when someone purchases a yacht the best assumption is that the investment capital is effectively lost. I'm basing that on the fact that I see so many yachts spending years on the market without a sale. So if the owner wanted to use that capital for something else, it's effectively tied up indefinitely awaiting a sale. I once bought a Falcon jet for business but got fed up with the ownership issues in a couple years, sold it, and went back to chartering. From the day I decided to go back to chartering it was probably only 90 days before the money was back in my account. A jet is a known commodity with a defined business function, unlike a yacht. With all of that as the setup to my question, what are the characteristics of yachts that heirs can most easily sell? And to the opposite point, what are the characteristics of yachts that are slow to sell?
