  1. Why do yacht builders insist on having two small heads with a shower over the toilet? If I’m dropping £1,000,000 plus on a boat I want a separate shower and toilet.

  2. Well I think that this boat should have me as the owner haha I do love this boat I would make one big locker behind the navi station. Have a folding seat on the door of the new walk in locker . I like old yachts and some new one's aswell. My favourite yacht has got to be the J boats. I all so think England has the best yacht's but Shannon boat's are pretty cool as well . Who am I kidding I love all yacht's, boat's anything that is involved with water lol

  3. I live in ipswich and recently saw the 111 being finished pre delivery .
Soon as i saw it across the quay i said to the wife .
Nicest yacht since the J classes.
Thats just how beautiful Spirit Yachts are built.
In the same league as Rolls Royce and Holland and Holland .
The detailing is top line with screw heads lined up fore and after just as in the finest sporting guns.

  4. The detailing of the design is far past competent. People will be raving about this boat generations from now. So gratifying to see the dedication and love.

  5. Expensive, a lot of hours put in. Not practical for off-shore, and no chartplotter at the piedestal. So very nice for costal afternoons with a girfriend in known waters.

  6. Interior is very simple and ordinary really. Improve it. When compare with other sailing yachts and long distance sailing day and night specially when you are crossing north atlantic then you more comfort and best feeling about your boat.

  7. Modern style and classic style are both great, but what I really like is the warmth and look of the traditional wood. If you're going to be out on the water for a while I just think it has a calming effect on the mind. And when done properly would detail right down to the last inch it is a work of art that you are inside of. So much craftsmanship it's just all inspiring! 👍🏻

  8. I've watched several videos of Spirit Yachts, and this boat is my favorite so far. The traditional interior is much more appealing to me personally. Elegant beauty and practicality.

  9. Looks like some superb planning and execution. One small improvement I'd ask for (and also for the 44CR) is a bit more sheer on the railing, if that doesn't affect indoor space too much. Also, will this come with an electric motor? Spirit's website is a little cagey on that, saying only that it can usually be added in.

  10. I like classic yachts. They are very beautiful. But modern yachts with their ugly boxy hulls are MUCH more convenient. You get MUCH more space and volume. And if you think about it, the only person who will NOT see your Samsonite inspired Beneteau will be YOU because you will be ON it. With classic yachts you allow others to admire your boat while YOU pay the price of narrow berths, tiny galley, lack of storage volume and weird configuration.

And I DEFINITELY dont like the sound of "softwood fibers impregnated with resin". That means that under a strong sunlight the deck will be VERY hot, even painfully so. So as something to admire on the way to your dirt cheap 15-year-old Jeanneau this boat is AMAZING. As something to live with… maybe not.
