Tax Dollars burned? The USA didn't waste any money on the military after 1865. Soldiers trained with wood guns. As a direct result the Kaiser didn't see us as a threat and felt safe as he drove into France. We got pulled in WW1. After that we didn't waste any money on the military either. The Japanese saw that weakness and attacked Pearl Harbor because we were no military threat to them, As a result they drove even further into China, Malaysia, Philippines and Indonesia. Since 1945 we have learned what being weak means to the world and to us. Today the governments that criticize and ridicule the USA have much in common. All are dictatorships, and most are communist. But today they have many liberal supporters here, all pretending to be educated and enlightened. For the most part they developed their beliefs while in "college". Good luck with that.
If you are violating the existing anchoring rules why would you be surprised by the note? I realize you and others don't agree with the rules that these cities are legally allowed to impose but you think that you can just ignore them?

I believe the thumbs down are for the words which sounded negative toward the air show. The fuel burned is necessary for training That is where air shows evolved from. Training happens wether people watch or not, so the pilots are ready at a moment’s notice when required.

They handed us that form, too. After 72 hours you're suppose to fill out your boat info on the simple online form to get a free permit to anchor for 30 days. After 30 days you can renew the permit again up to two more times I believe. Not that bad. I doubt anyone there bothers filling out the form though lol.
