  1. Hank needs speech bubbles lol… The woods is my office( I have my own dog walking/pet sitting business) and have taken many a goofy pic of the Vizsla's that I have walked over the years…. Fab vlog and well done Hank 🙂

  2. Okay, Carly, he now has a pet passport, the value of which is currently up in the air. Great. Did he have to bark, though? I mean, really? My keeshond was on her back legs with her front paws on my arm, peering at my computer screen and whimpering within seconds of him starting (and, I will admit, stopping). He really should keep his opinions to himself. 🙂

  3. Hey there. A couple of years ago we intended taking our dog (with current passport) on summer sailing trip to France. We called HM Customs prior to departure and were told in no uncertain terms that despite passport, dog could only travel legally to EU on an approved carrier i.e one of the ferries and NOT on a private vessel. We may have been given wrong info or law may have changed in past 2 years, but before we head off next summer I would definitely be checking out that info again. Be good to hear confirmation from you on that front. I really hope you are able to take Hank. 🤞🏼

  4. That cheered me up thanks Hank, we lost our G/Retriever two days ago , Heart attack, he was only 8, fortunately we have Lisa an 8 yr old Golden Lab , we are struggling to get on at the mo , but you helped Hank, Henry our G/R is watching you from above X

  5. I Love your channel. I have an 8 month old Vizsla and have plans to get a sailing vessel. Is there anything you did early on to get Hank ready to be a boat dog?

  6. That is awesome! Hank is all ready. I think you need to teach him how to edit the video's next. His picture he looks very handsome! He is such a good guy! I can see it now Sailing w/Hank youtube!

  7. Do you actually have to get a photo booth photo done? Asking as our puppy comes to his forever home next week and we need a passport to take him to my other home in Gibraltar!

  8. Hi from Barcelona. Firstly just wanted to say love your channel! Also Hank is a beautiful dog! I wanted to give some advice regarding South of France and travelling around the Med with Hank.

Not sure if your vet had informed you about leishmania? It's a disease that can be transmitted from the sand fly. You do not need to be near a beach in order to catch it. but it can be fatal if not prevented. When I adopted my boy here I had never heard of it as in the UK we do not have to deal with this pleased to say.

Anyway, it is easily preventable you have a couple of options. Firstly, There is a couple of different collars one is Scalibor and the other is Seresto which gives you protection between 6- 12 months. I also use the collar along with Advantix drops ( also prevents fleas and ticks ) which should be done every 3 weeks to be effective.
They are most active between May and September but I tend to start with the drops around end of March if the weather is hotting up early.

There is a vaccine, however my vet said that it is only 80% effective and the drops and the collar would provide the same if not more protection.

Here is a couple of links with some information.

    Nothing to freak out about!

Do your own research and speak to your vet 🙂 I would also advise to buy it from the UK as here in Europe they are alot more expensive.

Anyway Hope you guys find this helpful and sorry it was a long one!
