2. We have an small house on the island of pag, in the inner part of the natural bay (village called Bosana). I just love the water quality and the extreme calm water.

Haha, spending all of my vacations on a sailboat in Croatia in the 80's and 90's I was shocked to see Zut and how it's grown… I remember it as a small marina with only an office and a restaurant what only had 'fish or meat' on the menu… Absolutely right about Rovinje it's wonderful! Other of my favourite places in Croatia are Zadar, Dubrovnik, and the isles Telascica, Smocvika Vela, Susak, Mali Losjin and Silba…

7. Dude!, I subscribe to dozens of sites and get daily emails on new uploads and now I screen my messages and eliminate ones that are much longer than 10 minutes. Anyway I anguished weather to delete it or not. Then I remembered you're a home boy. Anyway I watched it and was amazed. Just fantastic, your drone footage is phenomenal. Having been to Knysna several times, you're probably in the nicest place in SA to be quarantined. I have that from Cyril himself.

8. Been to all these spots when I was a nurse/stew, Croatia was my favorite country by far, we were lucky to be docked there for 5 months over the winter. Also, Montenegro is it's own country, not part of Croatia! Thanks for bringing back some of the best memories of my life!

9. I spent a holiday with good friends of mine on a beautiful Hanse sailing yacht in Croatia last summer, just after I got my sailing license! Best holiday I‘ve had so far, Croatia is amazing!
   Have you seen the ww2 submarine facility when you were in Kornati national park? We went there for a dive.

10. I’ve been to all these places. (across a few sailing vacations) they are all so nice especially if you climb to the top of kotor!

Hey Jared, like the idea of lock down diaries – what you have done here really works – using the lens of places you have been, how you found them and creating montages of footage that gives us a chance to view the area through your eyes. 29. I think Mijet or Lastovo are also very beautiful places or Islands but for me Kornati was also a Highlight ! Very nice Video😉

    I spent two months travelling around Croatia and Bosnia, they have some lovely unspoilt spots now that they have started to recover from the war but haven’t yet hit mass tourism like places in Greece.
    In terms of yachting the island of Hvar just off mainland Croatia is a lovely place for boats and has some lovely beaches too. There are lots of other smaller little islands dotted around which you can take a water taxi across or yacht
    Would highly recommend

37. Remember going here as yacht crew in 1990. Worked through YPI at the time. A van lent yacht called Carmenta. Great life, but really hard work.

38. You are so lucky to visit Croatia (my home country), you need to visit islands Cres and Lošinj for me this is two most beautiful islands in Croatia. But also you need to see some inlands places like Plitvice national park or to visit Slavonia and try our local food. Be safe!

39. Its been really wonderful watching you sail around the very islands i sail on every day. I can tell you, even with a 15 meter/47ft sailboat, theese places arent even scratching the surface. On every island around split there is a nice sandy beach, or more that you can anchor on, and tie off stern to the rocks, and sleep trough the night. Thats what i love to do. Sleep in a sandy bay, and early in the morning, 7-9am, into the next sandy bay, anchor, tie to the rocks, lunch, dinner, then basicly rinse and repeat. Thats how we spend our summer holidays in Split.

40. In some places in Croatia, the water is so pure and clear, it feels like there is nothing between you and the sea bed several meters down. 🙂 BEST SEA EVER!

42. Only place I visited in the Adriatic was Koper, Slovenia (in October). Nice place, would like to visit again. Would like to visit all of these places sometime! Question: Most of your yachting videos is about activities on the yacht (water toys or the dining onboard). But do some charters like to go ashore and walk around some of the ports you pull into? Sample local food? (No offense to Chef's Dean and Nina!!)
