1. These testaments to greed and selfishness are not yachts. They are mini cruise liners. I am not anti-wealth, but I have enough brains to go figure the amount of resources needed to build and maintain a sea worthy vessel sufficient to fill the the megalomaniacal desires of an individual with hundreds of millions of dollars to spare. How many private individuals amass that sort of obscene wealth? Some do, by building corporations which rely on the input of hundreds if not thousands of workers. Others by cheating lying and exploitation or downright criminality. I would go further and suggest that the authorities in free societies have the wherewithal to determine one type of owner from the other. That knowledge could be used to make it difficult for criminals to benefit from their ill gotten expensive toys. It is heartening to see that progressive minded authorities are using their power in a responsible manner in line with the current atrocities being committed in Ukraine.

  2. Sounds like overspeed in moderate to heavy seas. Owners/passengers not aboard. Perhaps ‘Get There-Itis’ as they call it in General Aviation.

  3. Very clear. Thanks. Fatigue and full load on angines seem to be part of the story… And the crew has been exonerated… And the "suicide" of Khami? Would he have had something to say about the cause of the wreck, that someone did not want to hear?

  4. I have to agree it all seem strange that this played out as if they knew exactly what they needed before the disembarked the Yogi and phones not working or no UHF radio all made it even more cover up. It doesn't take much thinking on this matter. This is Fraud by all means then everything was not to be shared what was said behind closed doors. If there was a body not accounted for I'm sure they would of had someone else to take his place. I'm convinced this is far to much to see what really happened. Fraudulent activity.

  5. I remember this boat making launching news and catching it. Impressive as all are. So, surely money is playing multiple hands in this sinking….

  6. Liked the 2 videos. It reminded me of the time we took our jet boat out and forgot to open the coolant valve. Overheated the Chevy 350 to the point it quit. Then as the seawater cooled it sucked the valves at the exhaust ports inward and we were going down alright. Luckily we just made it back to the ramp with the help of a passing boat and hustled to get it back on the trailer. I wouldn’t want the exhaust below the waterline after that. Maiden and final voyage too.

  7. Good lord, this boat was a floating FUBAR. Either Proteksan was grossly incompetent or the crew was complicit in scuttling the boat.

  8. Just don’t make sense does it? Thanks for your input. I’ve watched a lot of your videos, I just don’t comment.

  9. This yacht was sabotaged by crew inaction and very possibly
on purpose. The vessel had many minor problems as soon as it went to sea. It could have been considered defective by the captain and owner in agreement to sink it. It must have been heavily insured as well.

  10. Gros negligence ….Fraud…… Payed off to sink the vessel ? The crew should have been charged with negigence resulting in the loss of the vessel . They should have also had have their licences revoqued and should never be able to board a vessel. 2 way radios are mandatory on big vessels like YOGI.

  11. AS IT WOULD BE ALL BUT IMPOSSISBLE TO SELL THIS YACHT, IT WAS VICTIM TO JEWISH LIGHTNING. THE BOAT WAS SUNK AND THE MATTER BECAME AN INSURANCE CLAIM MATTER.
GOOD LUCK WITH INSURANCE GANG. THE RICH HAVE SOLLUTIONS TO THEIR LIKING IIN ALL THINGS. UGLY OR JUST CRIMINAL. WATCHING THIS CHANEL, YOU HAVE TO BE CRAZY TO OWN A SUPER YACHT. I DON´T CARE HOW MANHY PROTITUTES YOU CAN GET ON BOARD YOUR BOAT.

  12. Yogi differed from the other two in one other aspect as well….she managed to sink, whereas her sister yachts are all still floating about, doing fine. She really was a beautiful yacht. Simply gorgeous. But personally, any yacht that requires a crew of more than 3-4 (Captain, Engineer, Chef, Maid) is simply too large unless it was built to be chartered out.

  13. Try going through the warranty period onboard a brand new Navy ship. Yes, they’re delivered to the Navy with a full warranty. Good thing to, because hardly anything worked like it was supposed to work. I’m a Plankowner for the Navy’s 2nd Wasp Class LHD, the USS Essex. It’s a beautiful ship (as far as Navy ships go), but was riddled with problems right after she was built. One of the more serious issues was with the ammunition elevators. But there were a multitude of issues that by themselves wouldn’t be that serious. However, when combined they created a ship that was incapable of doing it’s assigned mission. Thankfully they all got straightened out and she became an outstanding ship (less her 2nd Commanding Officer who killed the moral on the ship and would often get caught outright lying to the crew). Likewise, Bonhomme Richard was a fantastic ship. She will be missed. The fire onboard her resulted from a multitude of smaller issues that all went wrong (many deliberately sabotaged).

  14. Want to spend some time on the water? Get together with some good friends and charter a boat or a yacht for a day, a weekend, or? Now if you have money to burn and you've been taking your STUPID pills, then go ahead and buy that MONEY PIT. TheReaper!

  15. perfect conditions – that meant the turkish version of perfect (for them) as so many fault just appeared afterwards. the usual standard you can expect from a turkish supply. They change everything in silence to lower their costs but not telling the customer until he finds out. That is the reality.

  16. Now don't get upset but my 35 yrs as an engine diagnostics
    technition,
The engine roon managment was lacking. The bigest problem i would guess is the builders and designers didnot properly have the steering inspectedafter the unregulated work done adding tanks? To catch leaks?
In the area of the steering?
The phones may have shorted from the "Leaking".
Those overheated engines were due to pushing the engines in far but with out proper sencers the chief mechanic should have known but if he was a new replacement would not have ben very familiar with the various special needs or conditions
That as were said "not in the "as built" specs/ plans.
[The suspitious nature of what happened .] The mechanic should have known to watch the motors closely and advised the captian not to overwork engines during their "breaking in"
    Voyage.
It also sounded like the crews did not close the water tight doors, adding to or quickening the sinking. Does this vessel have balast system that could be used to counter the taking on water (early on )?
Basicly design and crew faults.crew not prepaired knowledge or ability i do not know, the captain should have done alot more to keep the ship a float.
Too bad the investigation was so shaudy and incomplete.
I would have had the builder aswer more about the wet exhaust system blueprints aswell as the inspecters that gave it a clean bill of health without inspecing the door seals and added construction before first major voyage.
*I would like to see the forenzics report and engine oil lab results. But unfortuately that will nevet happen .
And the builders suicide pritty much seals this into the "we may never know " catagory.
    Sorry for going on ..
But i used your videos and , well you said it all already.
I will be watching hoping for updates because there are too meny unanswered questions. That dugs me.

  17. I don't see how a watertight door dogged down can just pop open it just seems impossible. It had to so many mistakes by most or all the crew to stick to a story that was untrue. I wonder did they all have a reason to get to their destination early and all said we can make it or the money it makes such a beautiful sound. On someone's deathbed the truth may come out.

  18. I knew one person on yacht the last time we spoke about this sinking he blamed fully on captain. Neglect unprofessional misleading and felt this was a full blown sinking to gain insurance money

  19. There are very good reasons that accident investigators are independent, govt-sponsored groups like the NTSB… because just as we see here, when a group is allowed to investigate themselves they'll always find that they did nothing wrong. Using the shipbuilder's feedback to alter the "facts" is particularly egregious… but what's most telling for me is that even if there were major issues with the ship's build, the crew's actions were suspiciously incompetent in any version of the story (including their own). There's definitely something off… it's just hard to tell with such unreliable sources. Great videos though, really interesting. 👍

Minor point @ 2:03 … an aircraft "black box" does record data from the entire flight. They have two parts… the Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) only stores the last 2 hours of cockpit audio prior to a crash… the Flight Data Recorder (FDR) stores the last 25 hours of technical data (which is longer than any single flight duration). Airlines actually download & analyse this technical data following every flight, and have been using it for years to get better fuel efficiency, logistical planning, etc.

  20. 😂 ship owners have so much money that losing a vessel and sinking it in a circumstantial logical way the insurance will pay. That’s the problem with insurances this will be investigated of course by a team but it should be interrogating all the membership on the ship but also all the nonmembers Brooks medley a few people who deliberately damaged the vessel and then take it down that’s where a boy story mainly starts to get something unachievable done by lying cheating and manipulating in the first instance always insurance and that’s where are the first capital. With the first U can make more and more and more until you hit a ceiling and then you do it again or you’re educated enough to do another scam. The old-fashioned businessman of the old days is the scammer oven today they’re all jerks and we have too many of them around in the world for no good for no reason but because of their personality type very convincing and everybody believes them and they get away with all their money only for themselves because they’re very egocentric to extend that navigation psychotic is above average in this group this group of peiple.

  21. Il video non è male ma ho messo "non mi piace" perché le didascalie coprono quasi metà del video, come in altri video su YouTube, ma questo è esagerato! Si può rimediare? Grazie
