1. Wishing everyone in the US a safe and happy 4th of July weekend! And if you want to know what the most exclusive yacht club in the world is, well you'll just have to wait a few more episodes :). Fair winds and sending you much love. XXOO- Capt. Breeyawn, Kazza, and The Little Nugget

  2. On windy days, my old Hunter 31 required two anchors set at 45 degrees. not so much for total holding power but because with one anchor she tacked back and forth at anchor at such high angles it stressed the single anchor hold to much . even with a plow in the sand. Even in my Hurricane hole during Sandy on the York river, she drug both anchors. For whstever reason I awoke at 2 am and the eChrat showed I had been dragging anchor…so, in a 70 knot blow, I had to drive upwind, pull both anchors and reset them farthe rupwind..by myself…it was NOT a fun night. You don;t want to be dragging with a lee shore 200 m downwind.

  3. You guys keep this up, Nugget will become an old kind of human. tuned to the sea and weather and keenly ware of what it takes to survive without a convenient store a block away..Alt-Seirra dot com

  4. Nugget is goning to have a VERY different perspective on life. Preparing to deal with outher people in her future will be a real challenge..I suggest immediately introducing her to jimmy Buffet

  5. I use an old dull hatchet on conch. One or two hard strokes where youw ant to make your tendon cut,,, It doesn;t have ot be a "surgical process. I can pull 10 conch in 5 mintues

  6. 7:45 Sierra got her another milestones..she learn to stand up and climb on the fence. I saw her little feet stand on the edge. She is amazing and now she is the STAR ⭐ of the show. Watch out Brain, she will take over your title one day.🤭🙃

  7. The sea is exciting but the excitement in Brian and Karen's voice and face Everytime the baby does a new step in her young life. It warms my heart the happiness she brings the two of you. She is living the life I'm sure some negitives don't agree but I think she is happy healthy and not missing one darn thing here on land. She has it all. Sun food water bed and the mist precious, happy dotting parents ever. Safe sailing hope your 4 th was wonderful as well.

  8. the green flash is real and amazing! I worked on a schooner in key west with ratlines all the way up the mast and if you were good enough you could scurry yourself up and catch the green flash for a full 20 seconds or so! next best option is to crouch down low and slowly stand up to get a little more sunset that might even help you see the color variations a bit more.

  9. How old is Sierra when this video was recorded? She was cute working on the chicken leg and pulling on the lines at the end of this video. She's growing so fast.

  11. This is the best channel on youtube.
I watch your adventures every night before bed, it's so nice to watch this level of free living.
I am buying your merch to rep your crew very soon!
    Happy sailing! 🙂

  12. Brian to see the green flash you need a partner – you must not be looking at the sunset and the moment it sets your partner says look now and voila – the green flash – taught to me by a deep sea captain – Ev (Sailing Morning Star)

  13. I was skeptical about the green flash until I saw it for the first time sailing west out of curaçao right next to Aruba. A 73yo lifetime sailor was with me and said it was the first time he saw it as well. The air was dry and not a cloud in the sky. I’m no longer a skeptic but think it’s just extremely uncommon.

  14. I think if everyone just kept re-watching old Delos videos and stayed home we would be much better off lol……..Makes me need a beach that much more now but im satisfied watching you guys enjoy and live through your adventures

  15. Brian, I feel like you have mentioned seeing a green flash by now, but they are real. My high school physics textbook had a picture of it on the front. The most I have seen them is when I lived in Saipan.

  16. Enjoying watching your adventures. I am a little behind but will soon catch up. Great video. Chilled tunes. Powerful video. Very informative. Good vibes.

  17. And you figured out why after my first toddler I started calling him and his subsequent brothers monkey. Love the crib crawling scene 🙂

  18. Think about all the relief money that gets laundered. All the money goes to the cities for the cities to be cleaned up. None of it goes to the beaches that receive all the things that leave the city. If there was only a way for the money to go directly to the beaches.

  19. I was so confused for a minute as there are two Hog Cays in the Ragged Islands. One by Duncan Town and one north by Williams Town. Thank you for continuing to show your location on Google Maps so I don't go crazy!! One of my favorite things to do while watching the videos is pull up Google Maps and see where exactly you are in the video. Yes, I'm a huge map nerd!! 😀
