Stranded Sailors DATA PROPRIA INSULA – Oceanul Indian Ep.77

Stranded Sailors DATA PROPRIA INSULA - Oceanul Indian Ep.77

1. To clear up a little confusion (and anger?). Although the island was initially uninhabited, the officials installed a caretaker to look after the island whilst we are staying here (and possibly us too!). He acts as a link to any passing fishermen to explain what the yachts are doing here and that we are quarantined and safe to them. He does not live permanently on the island and will return to his village once we are able to leave (he doesn't stay on the island all the time).

  2. Very scripted and sterile. I suggest you relax and just not worry so much about a great video. Have fun.

  3. You had me fooled with that palm-climb. I was just going to add a comment saying how impressed I was that you managed it, when you confessed to common sense and a lower tree.

  4. I just discovered this channel and I'm so excited to hear you are planning to visit south Africa when you can. I'm going to subscribe and keep updated with your journey and hopefully if you pass through port elizabeth we can bring you a south African care package for your journey. I hope you have a safe journey and don't lose hope, you will be out on the ocean again before you know it

  5. Nice video thanks. Just be cautious of running on the beach with no proper shoes… as the soil is soft you might hurt your feet – research on "fascitis Plantar"

  6. Sailing Yacht Florence You guys, please pay no attention to the few unkind and unwarranted comments from people who are unhappy without something to get indignant over. You’ve always shown yourselves to be thoughtful, respectful, grateful and kind. Thank you so much for the joy your videos bring the rest of us.

  7. Great video you guys! I hope you get to teach those pigs some manners! Their smacking was halarious! You have me waiting for the next video! I need to get a life!😁

  8. So nice to see you are making lemonade out of the COVID imposed travel restrictions. The Indonesian government is being very helpful so kudos to them for recognizing the needs of travelers such as yourselves. It looks like a lovely place to be isolated and you have the company of other voyagers. Stay healthy and hopefully the restrictions will be lifted soon so you can resume your Indian Ocean crossing.

  9. It’s good to know that both of you are taken care by our people..I am an Indonesian..
    Stay safe and healthy..
Please do come back when things back to normal..

  10. Awesome video. Stay safe, and don’t forget when it gets lonely, you bring smiles back into people life’s. You are stuck in paradise. Enjoy your time. Take care 👍✌️ ….from penang, malaysia .

  12. I really feel sorry for you isolated on that beautiful island, I mean I really do.😁 Lovely video thanks.

  13. Hey Guys,
I am relatively new to your channel but have mostly seen all your videos.
Love how you speak through these videos about your individual passion towards sailing.
The ups and downs are definitely there with the added burden of Covid 19.
I'd like to wish you both all the very best. Look forward to your series crossing the Indian Ocean.
    Love from India 🙂

  14. I have been here in the USA since covid became a thing…. Believe me – 90% of us would give anything to be in your place. You lucky dogs! No complaining 🙂

  15. According to worldometer new infections of Covid in Indonesia have fallen from 12,000 a day to 5,000 a day. Deaths have lowered from 300 a day to 200 a day. Cheers Gray

  16. Some of us are locked inside the big city far their loved ones which could feel more Robinson Crusoe than on that far away island! Lol….
You are doing fine Florence…just let the poetry flow for the moment you have all you need around you!
    Cheers

  17. I have tried to watch many sailing videos on YouTube but unfortunately only for a few minutes but I am hooked on your videos 😁

  18. I am amazed you never get a burn and sun cream is not on your shopping list, unless your makeup and film crew handle the sundries😀 after years you both look amazing , even in high def. I would have barnacles and saltcicles by now. love the multiple camera angles, makes editing a nightmare but much appreciated . Sa11away.

  19. Altough these moments are far in the past now, I wont forget it: it was the time when you decided to include a smooth o instrumental bossa nova soundtrack at the end of the episodes, dragging my Brazilian soul nearer you and the paradise places where you've been.
    Thanks guys.

  20. Of all the places in the world, I didn't think government kindness would pop up there. A lovely place, kind people and governance, others to share with, one might call it paradise.

  21. So glad you had Jack there to help take your minds off lockdown. He must have really missed you when you moved on💔
