I luv your videos and you’re such a calm speaker,Are used to work on the Mississippi ,on the mark twain,the Commodore and the president which was where they had concerts and dances, and the captains on the small were extremely friendly and would explains so much that was on the Mississippi, all about the locks and all about the vessels that were passing well we were docked are going to opposite way, it got to the point where we started getting hit by the barge is a lot and that just wasn’t cool especially if you were doing the dinner cruise and all the food would go on the floor,the people I worked with were amazing and just really kind humans!

12. Hi there, i am retired now after 52 years at sea any kind of ship from 1.500 ton to 345.000 ton crude tanker, i have only seen a few episodes of the "below the deck" if you behaved like that on any of the ships i worked on you would be beached. but then we would have
    to sign the articles, and then you would know what you could or could not do, any o them
    crews ever get caught by the tax department in their home countries, i was told they do no declare the tips at the end of each trip. Wish you fair winds and calm seas

18. Thank you so much for telling the TRUTH about working on these wonderful Large private own super vessel's. What I mean is after watching TV show below Decks. It really gives you crew a bad rap. I was wondering about the crew thing if crew shortage the Lady's working interior, might have to fill in on Deck, so they must have experience. The show is all about charter yacht's. Owners making money to pay for there vessel. I was always so interested in sonar. So anything underwater you can see. Is my interest. I got Married on Grand Princess by Captain at Sea. The Wedding Certificate is (Republic of Liberia)

20. @7 minutes when you discuss the Agent company in any port. Would ANY Agent in the world allow a vessel which arrived light, to leave on a scheduled long voyage without adequate fuel, food, medical, security, licensing for crew, and etc.? Of course not. The Captain could NEVER expect to keep them from realizing the deficiency, and reporting directly to the owner's management contacts.

22. I love how you have extremly short and concrete anwsers for all the questions while most of the questions the real anwser could easy fill 10 episodes. I have to kinda disagree on the 6:15 ovean crossings question though: Smaller yachst, IF designed for world wide crossing/ocean capability can be secure with no problem, so its basically a definition of how small it will still be a superyacht and eaven a 10m yacht can savely be used for ocean crossings/round the world. So setting a 60m barrier there would just be saying that any yacht shorter than 60m is not a superyacht.

23. It sounds as though the saying « Familiarity breeds contempt » should warn the crew about trying to get close to the Captain or senior crew members or their wives.

I've had many years of experience sailing and I'm about to retire from the Canadian Coast Guard, and would like to continue on the water. I'm presently crew for a small boat, finishing up America's Great Loop. I'm anxious to hear what you have to say on "age" of crew?

Pretty naïve if you think they are not constant dirty money washed thru these boats made legal when resold , set rules up to not disturb their privacy. How convienent ! Barely able to follow ownership much less criminal money that buys these yachts and not just Russians . Industry perfectly arranged for catering to bad rich part of society
