1. Nothing is more expensive than a free boat.

2. A pretty well-done video. I had some minor quibbles, but, overall, agree with the main point: the purchase price is just the beginning and is often less than half the total outlay. It works out well because used fiberglass boats are dirtcheap compared to replacement price. Apparently fiberglass is forever.

3. I found a Neptun 22 right now near Stockholm. It has a good substance and with more or less work on it it will be perfect again.
   it is in a varv and they need that place for other boats, so i think it will be cheap to buy.

8. The second boat I bought right out of college was a new Catalina 22. I always admired the Catalinas and if I was looking to sail again (unlikely at 75 years old) Id buy a Catalina. Back when I was sailing, the Catalina 30 was my dream boat.

9. im thinking of buying a boat. I think my place is a good example of costs.
   a 6m long boat cost 200 per month. a boat that is 12m costs 560€ its a huge difference

10. I just bought a 78 cat 22. I paid $2,250 and it “needs” nothing. The list of my wants are never ending

11. I bought a Catalina 22 in 1975 brand new for about $5k. A lovely boat that I cruised the Chesapeake on. I finally sold it because nothing I tried could change the horrible lee helm it had, which made sailing it a battle.
