On your way to the Carrebean you should seriously consider hopping the northern coast of such Sicily. In particular, Messina, eolran islands, Cefalù, Castellammare del golfo and the egadi Islands.
There is a strong relationship between castellammare del Golfo and Cape Town. I highly recommend the norther coadt of Sicily.
Sisu , thnx for "real world" sailing channel !. Frik as you gained a vast amount of sailing knowledge would you again consider the 45 or would you up to the 50 (Lets leave the money variable out). Cheers and safe traveling.

Hello, from Brazil. Several sailors from Brazil navigate through whole Mediteranean Sea, but they never go through Black Sea, beacuse it seems foreign boat are forbiden in Black Sea. I saw your boat has a Romanian flag. Is this information true?

Hi Frik & Petro… Ereğli is one of my favorite town in the western Turkish Black Sea coast. SAD-AFAG had made research in 1988-1989 there for monk seals. I also worked in the Karadeniz Ereğli iron and steel plant in the same period. I hope you enjoyed much sailing in Turkish Black Sea coasts with marvelous coasts. Greetings from Turkey…
