love your vids, so ordered Rarotonga. Best fiction read I have held up in years and suits my sailing inclination just fine. Thanks!
Like an inverse Mr. Rogers' show!
cool beans <3
Please teach me…
Maintenance expedition…. love it
Capt Q gave you a shout out
Great video,
What is the boat type and size?
What! No socks on the job? Preppy
This is great 👌🏻
We escape the neighborhood – Because we can! Nuf said.
Subtle homage to Mr. Rogers. Love the slippers scene. "We come home if that's what fate has in store." Masterful writing!
As for boat line– once a year throw all the line in the washing machine. PRESTO! Feels brand new. None of the one braid, two braid, three braid, four stuff.
Hello!
Just found your videos. Very informative and enjoyable to watch. I look forward to seeing more.
Take care
Your garage isn't that organized.
Plenty of clowns 🤡 in that car. I just love the extra sound on top of the macerator noise. Phhhhhtt!
I would enjoy listening to you read a phone book. Keep em coming …
A very nice Mr Roger's of SV TII 🙂
Sailing version of Mr. Rogers I'm guessing.
What a great jewell of a video. Sitting here watching the sun come up over Lake Michigan in August of '21 and coming across this piece. Brings back memories of my days of sailing out of Marina del Rey. Beer can Wednesdays. Such great fun and this short piece brings it all back. Add to it Mr. Roger's theme and I would suggest a new, slightly altered name. "Escape to the Neighborhood," as the open ocean can be, as it was in this glimpse, a calm and friendly neighborhood in which to be.. Thanks for sharing.
Your videos are always a joy to watch. Wonderful voice overs with an excellent music choice make for quite then pair. One of the few times the youtube algorithm really did it's job.
Loving discovering you..beautiful music
😃🤔
So funny….. "every sail boat requires lots of tools and nowhere to put them, so let's open the door to this clown car and see how many colwns come out"… I shall remember this every single time I'm trying to put away my tools, I say but away as getting them out always seems so much easier..
of course Fred Rogers music is part of your collection. Bravo!
Pretty snarky old man. I love his "I'm gonna eat whatever I want" diet. When I'm 80 I hope I am this cool
I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos!
I love your humor I want to be like you when I grow up ❤️
By the way is it safe to say you named your boat after Monk? Or is it my wild imagination?
Wow cool your still sailing 😀,⛵
Well done, sir.
Well done.
OUTERBRIDGE REACH..
You sir are a great story teller, with excellent taste in music! A real renaissance man!!
at 63 yrs young, I admire you.. job well done!
Unlike the numerous sailing and boating channels, this is a "yachting" channel, something Christian seems to understand very well.
Christian, I’m 61 years old and would love to be you when I grow up. I would love to have you teach me to sail so I can be a bad ass like you when I’m ready. Please get in touch on your next Oahu trip as I would love to get to know you. Aloha
Mr. Rogers theme song just kills me. Every time.
Wiser for watching, and thirsty for more…Hendricks that is.
Christian, I absolutely love how you think and I love your videos. You do such a nice job in telling your story and I just love to watch it. AND you are one HELL of a sailor. One of the best in my opinion. Hope you are well my friend.
You are an absolute legend sir. I look forward to your stories and bits of wisdom as much as I did with my grandfather. You are an oasis in this odd world. Thank you.
