2. I only really use marine/naval knots anymore, even for most climbing applications, since they are both strong and easily opened with cold, wet hands, even after getting tugged on for hours.

10. The knot is fine but the way you tie it round the carabiner is wrong. The standing end where the load is going to be must load along the spine of the carabiner. So you have to loop away from the spine. If you don't do that, when the rope slacks it will get caught in the gate.

11. I've checked at least 10 descriptions of the anchor knot. This is by far the best. Clear description. Photography keeping the steps in clear view. Best of all, his description also eludes to the reasoning for the steps, e.g. "wrapping around the standing line."

24. I like it, from my knot, it will not endlessly trying to tighten like a constrictor knot, nor takes a few tries like bow-line or anglers knot so you won't waste a few lengths of rope. I don't feel too confident on it's end so I do a not too-tight constrictor knot onto the straight rope
