If you angle the cannons one to the front one directly head have the wheel 3/4 turned to the right sail angled one half a click to the left and the anchor almost all the way down you look stupid

Does this mean that a sloop is faster with the wind infront of it than behind it?
Or just that it’s not as slow as other ships with the wind infront of it?
How do you play with such low frame rate?
Actually realistically, it does make sense for the sloop to be faster into the wind because it's smaller and has less drag because of its size. The largest ships have a lot more surface area for the wind to be hitting increasing the amount of drag. It works in reverse for wind at the back, the galleon has more surface area so more speed.
