Six million is a steal. That'd be more in today's money if you built it today with current technology, let alone how they had to do it then.
Just because a few timbers were recycled due to wise ship building practices & government 3 card shuffle…don't call it the oldest. That's like calling the USS Arizona submarine a battle ship sunk on 7 Dec 1941.
Victory is GOAT and fucked up the French and America but we got fucked on land so hay ho 😂😂
That’s cool and all but how many dabloons is that
She gave all her victories and her service in combat were amazing she was a high-tech ship of her time she is the heart of the American Navy and the Marine corps she is amazing
Isnt the Victory the oldest?
no this is wrong actually the HMS victory is the oldest commissioned warship USS constitution was 1779 HMS victory was 1759 so ur wrong
Too bad they don't fire their smoothbore canons with black powder, loaded the old way.
I had the pleasure of going on board this ship when I was on Holiday in Boston, it was an amazing experience.
Absolutely the coolest ship ever.
The NAVY has and entire forest to supply timber to this mighty Warrior
A cool 6 mil for that. Good deal of you ask me
HMS Victory all the way
I thought hms victory was built in 1730s but i may be wrong
Best SHip ever
not to mention the Navy owns a forest for the sole purpose of making sure there's always wood for this ship
It is the only currently serving ship in the us navy to sink an enemy ship during combat
Why is there a Nigerian flag 🇳🇬 on it?
HMS Victory is the oldest commissioned ship in the world. Please try to get your facts right
Pretty sure HMS victory is older. 30 years to be exact
Isn't it victory or soon to be victory once her repairs complete and she can set sail again
Wrong typical American history builts on lies, HMS victory you know the one that lord Nelson commanded the battle of Trafalgar from was commissioned in March 1778, and side not she is still an active warship on the naval roll albeit as a museum ship.
So here a hint how about you fact check first so you dont look like a bunch of idiots.
I read that durring the war of 1812 they built the ships right on the lakes …crazy ..
i live 45 minutes from the ship
I was just having a conversation about this ship with a friend not 30 min ago. I open my phone to YouTube and this is the first short on my feed. What in the actual f*** is going on with these smart phones?
Imagine your on your battle cruise and this mf comes strolling up and behind its just a big feirry explosion
Imagine you running out of fuel, and this appears racing towards you as you hear: "LEEROOOOOY JENNNKINSSSSS!"
I thought the HMS Victor was built in 1760s
We need a master and commander style movie about this ship. Even if they have to commission an entire sailing replica for the movie
Theseus ship paradox
Imagine a 60 man ship only costing $6,000,000 today.
Name of song?
1797, the footage is from?
My parents took me to a tour of her around 1979.
In morden warships it has some great power amd position
6 Million? Even a costal patrol-boat is more expensive.
Imagine they have to pull out the USS Constitution for ww3, along with the USS Missouri or the USS Texas
