  1. I have a Snapdragon but not yet ever sailed, living on Wirral I was a senior white water kayak in instructor. And spent many times on a standing wave between the Meni bridges surfing the wave that is closer to Angle sea than the main land?for me as a beginner I think this journey would be to dangerous unless some one came with me? i had a 62 ft narrow boat and found the transition easy, hands on I think i would learn quick, but retaining knoll age and terminology would be my downfall. But watching your video gives me hope as you showed me many thing i did not know of the straits, as i only know the standing wave and the skerries, thank you my new friend , I look forward to one day meeting you out there, once the Snapdragon is fitted out with radio and alike.

  2. Having honed my sailing skills on the Menai Straights whilst at Bangor University in the early eighties, I really enjoyed this video. I hope to come sail
    the area again someday!

  3. At last someone who do not complain about the see conditions. Others cry out about the wind, waves, direction of the tides aso and I wander why they sail?

  4. Thank you so much for this video. We have a wee MacWester Rowan 22 at Port Dinorwic and we've been planning a trip to Abermanai for a while, so your advice is fantastic 👍😃
