Thanks for the great video, I guess it really could have been cold and so it was very comfortable enjoying it at Home. Some thirty years ago I discovered Pampus Island with a Friends of mine. It was completly uninhabitat and a real Adventure for us kids 💪🏼
Very cool. I hired a 41 footer last week in Zeeland and sailed to Greivelingenmeer. First time sailing with my 3 kids and my wife. Very similar conditions – cold, sunny and nobody around. It was wonderful.

Wow, Florian this video is great. I'm going to use it for a "go to" to get my sailing fix. Was wondering how it went getting your main down? I struggled with that for quite a while keeping head to wind and trying to get the main down or reef by myself. Finally got to sea anchor, I would drop it over, walk it forward and tie it off while easing sheets and she'd come head to wind. Then I had all the time in the world to reef or even change my head sail. What we do for fun! Keep up the good work and Thanks.
Thanks for the video. Its a difficult thing to put one together while sailing solo. Last time I was in Vollendam was by land. That was 1972 on the way to Sneek. Next time will be by water.

Well done ! Not an easy upwind sail in cold weather. Just two quick observations: if possible I would recommend to fold down the cockpit table when sailing, it will give you more room to move around. And it's best to remove the winch handle from the leeward winch where the jib line under tension is rapped. In case something happen and you might need to release the jib line quickly and the handle might get in the way and tangle the line.

Really cool – keep doing them. Have sailed in that area a lot. Can you do trips to each of the towns in the Markermeer and show us them. You have a lot of places to show off – Muiden, Monnickandam (better than Volendamme), Hoorne etc etc. Thanks for this 😀

This was lots of fun. Wonderful videography! New autopilot seems to work just fine. I just read that once again Finland was voted the happiest country in the world. "Super Happy Sailor" Ari apparently has a lot of cheerful company in that country.

Thank you, Florian! It was great to see you just sailing. However, it would be very interesting to see, how you got the sail down without shelter in that wind, how you contact the marina, and find your place in the marina. All these things are not easy and almost not possible without little or big “mistakes”, and it would be great to see how you are dealing with such situation. Please don’t misunderstand, it is not about criticism! It is just about being honest, how you reach a safety place for the next night. What things you have been happy about and what you have been annoyed about?

Great video and videomaking. I usually cant get warmed up to big wide modern looking yachts, but you conveyed something with that overhead shot starting at 7:09 that is really interesting. One thing I really miss from this video is the start and end of the sail! Really wanted to see you lower the sails and approach the harbor.
