5. If I wanted to sail any distances, I would not do it in a sailboat. I like sail boats but cruising long distances at 5 mph, life is too short to go places that slow. And sail boats are a lot of work to sail. A cabin cruiser like this one is heaven on the water if you can afford to buy one and feed fuel every minute you are running. Wind may be free but you end up paying in other ways.
