  21. We would love to go on a sail with u guys but we can't afford to do much lol do y'all ever take ppl on a sail and let them help u with sailing ? I've never even got to see the ocean but me and my soon to be wife would love to go on a sailboat someday

  23. Love this . I first visited Mystic Seaport as an 8yr old in 1969 on my first visit to the US. I remember having my photo taken at the top of the Charles W Morgan gangplank. Some 30 yrs later I had my photo taken in the same spot with my own 6yr old son. Emotional.

If / when you make it to the UK, you would probably enjoy the Historic dockyard in Plymouth… it has the worlds longest serving naval vessel (HMS Victory) amongst many other interesting exhibits… if you want to be even further back into the history of shipbuilding you should visit Denmark and the Viking ship museum in Roskilde… still building longboats with traditional tools and skills… 👊🏻

  26. I really liked this video. And the Craftsman's comment about losing the skill.
    I used to mention to kids (and adult) that the Real reason they went to school was not for Grades, Diplomas, nor even to get a Job. The Real reason was to pass along the knowledge we learned to future generations so we don't have to learn it the hard way again.
    In as short as 3 generations and everything Mankind spend millennia to learn can all be forgotten.
    That's the Real reason kids go to school.

  33. Great episode! Last time I visited Mystic, it was so cold that my fingers were nearly frostbitten and none of the shops you show were open. Really nice to see your tour of the area. Makes me want to return sometime when it’s warm!
