  1. Thanks for that a real worthwhile vessel that is doing something good, and uniting science people and countries. Brilliant stuff M8 thanks 🙂

  2. Great to hear about the future plans for this boat. I would be interested to know that once the design was approved, how long this boat took to build.

  3. Seems like a chap you wouldn't mind getting stuck at the bar with! You need to take him up on his offer when he returns

  4. I nice little taster Nick, you will have to take Skip up on his offer for an interview when they return from Svalbard (if they’re luck they may run into Iorek Byrnison up there), I bet that will be an amazing story to share.

  5. we need some action footage of this vessel in action Nick, will Marianne let you go to Norway and beyond for a Month or so?

  6. Everyone with a brain knows humanity is not allowed to go to Antarctica without it being controlled! Captain cook sailed 4 years to find a entrance 60.000 kilometers…. now that is a diary also …. it's a joke people we are are sailing in a pond with the 70 meter icewall called antartica being the "wall"… Hug Nick ty for all your videos 🙏

  7. This looks so fun and something I would have totally been into about 30 years ago. Now I'm just old, fat, and disabled and need a luxury superyacht. 😉

  8. What a great illustration of selecting a boat, or in this case, designing a boat to meet your needs. HIs "floating and boating" is somewhat unique :). Really enjoyed the tour and interview. Thanks.

  9. They must have an incredible backlog of potential crew members and volunteers. And it would seem she’s booked for years to come. All of this in 77’, beyond brilliant!

  10. Skip Novak has become the greatest high altitude exploration Skipper in the world at this time. What a legend he is.

  11. What a name, Skip Novak, couldn't pick a more explorery name if you tried.
Also, his accent is seriously confusing, can't pin it down.

    Great videos too.
