  1. there is a Japanese sail his 24ft frp boat form Japan to antarctica single handed several years ago and that boat called ‘aomi’

  2. This video shows you can live large on a $1200 per month Social Security income … Well done … please show us more …

  3. This is a boat I really like. Well designed and really made for sailing long distances in far remote areas. And I really like his last statement: what more do you need.

  4. Just curious, does this kind of expedition yachts (this one in particular) use carbon or alloy masts? I'm used to the cycling/mtb world, and altough carbon fiber has a stronger mechanical resistance/fatigue, at least on mountain bikes, the impact strengh is way lower than alluminium, being weak against hits/debris etc, also if any cracks happen they break dramatically compared to alluminium wich tends to bend before breaking

  5. I've got a funny feeling that even if your boat was 100ft long it would not be big enough. Me thinks you are asking just a bit too much of this size of boat. Having watched this video i don't feel as guilty going into my garage.

  6. While some 'licensed captains' struggle to impress their YT viewers, this skipper is straight to the point. Kudos to the team.
