17. This just shows how strong and powerful anna Kendrick’s voice is , she wasnt using a mic nd yet she almost sang louder than aubrey .

Yeah, technically, what Beca's doing here is highly unprofessional and is not exactly model teamwork, but she can't be faulted for her ability to read the room better than the others (who are all distracted by one personal blinder or another) nor for her uncanny knack for knowing exactly the right song to throw into the mix at the right time. Imagine if Aubrey could have seen the comments on the judges' scorecards and realized that Beca's little stunt probably got them more points than it lost. Would she have realized the damage her obsessive need to redeem herself from last year's humiliation was doing to herself and the group, or would she have sunk into denial and doubled down on blaming Beca?
