  1. Sure would love to have Johan's skills. OMG, WOW !! So talented with all that equipment and installs. Almost time to head South !! Vera is such a cutie pie. ✨ 👍 😎 ✨

  2. 04:15 It is called coaxial cable, usually called coax for short, pronounced "coh – axe"
Coaxial cable is specified by impedance along its unit of length, usually 50 ohms or 75 ohms and more rarely 150 ohms, because it is RF that travels down it, so the cable has to have precise impedance per unit length to allow proper signal flow (not called resistance like a DC cable has, but impedance because it is AC/RF).

  3. We have been following you for several years. We just saw your old boat still in San Diego. It was fun watching you make your way down the Pacific coast and stop in San Diego then watch your boat tours as your chooses your new boat.

  4. The router you have chosen seems to have good specifications but the price is completely ridiculous. Why have you chosen this router rather than one from forexample Teltonika?

Good WiFi / 4G should have been added to the list of Maslow's hierarchy of needs!

  5. much work with the cables 😉
    Johan,
4:06 can you please tell me, what kind of coax-cable is that? – unfortunately, I don't recognize anything on the cable jacket

  6. Love your videos! Wish I was healthy enough to do what your doing! You guys seem like a very happy family and your videos are a nice place to escape the insanity of this world.

  7. I can see via your AIS signal that you just left Limhamn for new adventures!😊 GODSPEED to you all & stay safe! I will continue follow your journey from here.

  8. Question? You have now installed a lot of antennas for all sorts of applications. Why was Starlink out of the question for you. An internet connection in the middle of the ocean with fast uploads and downloads wouldn't be the worst thing? Or does something speak against it?

  10. Hi RAN2! Said to my wife this morning, I guess "owls" in the bog, now west of Falsterbo !!! Good luck on the voyage, HAVE a good trip !!!!!!

  11. Thank you for sharing your experiences with sailing. I have absolutely completely loved all your videos. So down to earth, and so much to learn just from seeing everything from repairs to sailing, to solutions and very small things one might not think about. You have been among the best to keep my spirit up in my own journey now to live on a sailboat and not ever despair about having to repair something, but knowing there is always a solution if you look for it or ask others who have had similar experiences 🙂 All the best from an old North Norwegian who is going back to sea after 30 years on land 🙂

  12. Johan, I am looking forward to an analysis of the wifi and 4G abilities you have installed. I found my system doesn’t work that far offshore or out of sight of a tower. Can’t wait!

  13. Hi Guys, good luck and fair seas on your next adventure. I have a question, how do you deal with Covid restrictions? We are finding thing extremely difficult to plan our journeys. We are British so I expect problems, we are still being punished for Brexit, I suppose after we pass Europe by it may be easier

  14. Woooo Hooooo, you must be excited. Love Vera's duck noises. Great work, good to get everything connected. Love the vlog, thanks. 🙂

  15. I always find your videos so relaxing to watch. I don't know if it's the music you choose or just how chill you are all the time but these videos are fantastic!

  16. Great vid guys. Seeing all of the cables being fitted reminded of the ‘DiNiro and Hoskins’ scene in the film Brazil! 😆

Keep up the good work 👍
