Hi all
We hope you're enjoying this episode if you are please subscribe it really helps our channel out.
Much love
Luke and Adam
Wow guys great video. The sea looked stunning. I’d be scared too at night in the open sea . Can’t wait for the next one . X
😷👍
Hi Luke and Adam, really enjoying your adventure 👍👍 Luke's thoughts on being so far off shore struck a chord, it is comforting to know even with your vast experience you still get nervous ! We have only been sailing 3 years on a centaur we bought in Barry yacht club (even though we are from Sheffield haha), we've done a few night passages and a few thousand miles now and enjoyed every second of it, but have scared ourselves a few times, currently heading around Britain but the opposite way round to yourselves, hopefully with a bit more experience we will follow in your footsteps one day 😁 oh and we are in the process of swapping our centaur………….
For a rival 34 !! the most beautiful and capable boat in the world as far as we can tell !! All the best and safe sailing.
Loved the vid as usual but stop eating burned toast it bad for you ……… I love it too haha
Lovely sailing conditions..so envious
The trick is to put ALL the rivets in their holes while they are loose and then press them. Keep it up guys!!
have a great christmas guy
great christmas guys lol
Wonderful sailing. Could not ask for better conditions. Cheers & Merry Christmas. ☆
S/V Cork.
Im sure your mother is so so proud of her boys, she will give you a free pass this Christmas.
Burnt toast eating in underpants is not sailing doodles ;))
Yet another amazing video from you both .
It looks so beautiful out there thanks for sharing it with us.
Hey boys I rode my motorcycle across that bridge in Lisbon few years back it was a great trip 👍
well done!! on my boat I make toast using fry pan…. less chance of a bread fire 😉
Brilliant. Just brilliant.
That toast is seriously burned!1
"if we sink, it wasn't the correct decision"… That's probably true for anything you decide to do on a boat!
Another good episode, enjoyable sailing, definitely going well so far. Happy Christmas to you both.
Keep your spinnaker pole 90 degrees to the mast. Parallel to the sea
great job¡¡¡
Merry Christmas lads. Have a good one.
Brilliant
If the solar is getting covered, why not buy a wind turbine to help?
Hey guys, on your last vlog you put up your spinnaker pole with the openings at each end facing downwards. When fitted each end should have the open at the top for quick release. Love watching your channel – we really enjoy it. Keep safe and have fun!
Possibly your best video yet guys – outstanding. So honest and down to earth, sharing your experience and feelings.
Don’t ever stop being ‘you’ 👍
Well done lads. enjoy
Love watching your adventure looks amazing
Brilliant video guys, we’re slowly catching up with the episodes. We ration the session to two in one sitting and always enjoy every moment.
Just found your channel and subscribed, all your episodes so far have been thoroughly enjoyable and inspiring. Thank you both of you, what you are doing is really encouraging.
I'm returning to cruising after a long break of several decades. Always loved Rivals for their no nonsense seamanlike design and build. The rivet failure on your pole has reminded me that I need to replace all of mine. A long time ago I had a similar failure in the dark which prevented me from reefing, not something I want to revisit. All the rivets on my current boat must be a similar age to yours and are probably just waiting to fail. So thank you for pressing this thought home.
I wondered what your concerns were re Orcas. That makes sense now….. no one needs that!
This episode really caught the feeling I want sometime in the future. I bought a 27 foot sailboat start of October to learn to sail in. Once I get proficient and the time is right I hope to journey further afield in something larger. Loving the videos of 2 normal lads doing it. Thanks guys. Keep up the great work.
Half an hour into that rain.. Me, Sod this Bruv, I'm off home.
Happy new year (23) guys from a very well lit Ramsgate Harbour.
