In Ep 04 I see a light weight wooden deck device with the job sheet running through it and a series of holes for adjustment of a bungee cord. Is there a name for it? Does it keep tension on the sheet? Will you tell explain its use?

Beautiful video. What is the animal climbing up the bank at about 8:20? Tail looks odd for a seal.
Seems like you'd need a lot of gear to be away 6 mos. You clean water the anchor to keep it from rusting? That's got to be a weight on the Julia. The reason I'd like to do something like this is to see the stars wo light pollution rise up out of the ocean and set. Night photography must be easier said than done. The cheese burger you ate in Oz must have tasted better than anything i could eat. How much research went into this? Kind of makes me question my way of life.

You missed Shallow Bay on the North end of Sucia, oh well next time when you get back. The sunsets from that bay are spectacular but so is the bay. My favorite of all the stops in the islands. Keep going love your low key approach to this series and your unique videos. I'm certainly living vicariously through your tip…love it.
