8. I have only started watching the last few weeks and subscribed. What you are doing is amazing. It is a fabulous family effort. My sons name is Jack as well so hello captain Jack from Ireland.

9. Restoring an old boat is grueling, ass-busting work. It really needs a vision of what the boat can be when it is restored. These people have what it takes and don't mind the fact that hard work is required. I find it so inspiring. I hope that one day they can just enjoy the fruits of their labor and follow their dreams to sailing adventures. KUDOS to this family!

14. You've mentioned Uma in the past. They stopped her insulation at at the water line. I thought that was a wise move. Uma has gone from the Caribbean and up passed the Arctic Circle. That's awfully hard to argue with.

15. Chain Locker, Just a thought can you use some wood scraps for furring and maybe throw in some 1/2 in. or heavier plastic sheeting? A few drain holes in the bottom. Doesn't have to be much just a buffer between chain and haul.

25. I wish I had come across your YouTube video sooner. There is an insulation that is used behind new siding that goes on older homes the insulation I think is about a quarter inch thick and comes in folding pieces that are 4 ft by 2 ft and as you unfold them the panels would be 4 ft by 2 ft but they're attached and can be cut with scissors. The material itself is relatively cheap and you can use it to make templates and cut it with a pair of scissors. I used it on a boat that I worked on and it was fantastic as you put the piece in if it needs a little trim here or there you can trim it until it fits perfect with the scissors and also where your round windows are you can press the thin insulation into the window and it will even imprint what you can use as a guide for cutting that out. The insulation is rigid enough to use as a template but still flexible and easy to cut with scissors. Much better than cardboard as it won't tend to roll up or curl where it makes sharp points. But what fun watching the video!
