Restaurarea unui iaht neglijat de 40 de ani | Ep. 1

Calatoria incepe!

  1. Nice job. At Walmart in the automotive section they have a septic cleaner called Super Clean comes in a purple 1 gallon plastic container. You can put it in a spray bottle and use if to clean the yellowed instrument cover. Remove the cover spray it with the cleaner in about 20 seconds the yellow will be running off. Spray it with water at that time. I would do both sides. Then you use a cutter buffing compound and buff it out. Will look clear like new.

  2. Geez, I would love to have had the same experience. Fantastic. A new 42 ft. yacht would really have nothing over this one. You can add the Garmin's and whatever other electronic gismos new ones come with but not the $2 million price tag. You probably did not spend more than $25,000 to have the same enjoyment, utility in every respect and pride of ownership. Even more of the last attribute since you did so much of the work yourselves in restoring this Queen of the Seas to her former stature and elegance.

  3. I definitely would do this but my cost would be 5x because im not handy at all know nothing about engines great 1st video you 2 look happy!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Loved watching all the 18 episodes🤔waiting for more! my one question I have is how did you find the vessel for sale? as I'm not having much results in finding something similar here in 🤠Australia, thanks! keep up with the terrific work.😚😎

  5. What was the total cost of the boat was the engine repairs and the haul out? I intend to watch this whole series! I live over in Snohomish Washington so the waterways are interesting to me after being on the East Coast for 10 years:-)

  6. Not sure what the motives are, but you can definitely remove the obnoxious music and focus more on essentials about how you did the repairs. Anyway, that would be more ideal for someone like me who wants to be educated, not entertained. Just sayin' it. 😉

  7. You guys did an awesome job I’m restoring my boat I’m about to give up you guys inspired to keep going because financially it’s killing me ❤❤❤❤

  8. Partner???? Too bad he won’t marry you. Get your name on EVERYTHING!! OPPS, SEE HE THREW YOU OVER VERY QUICKLY, lesson learned, I hope!

  9. Word of caution the uniflite boats are known for blisters on the hull and expensive to fix but they carry great engines Detroit and Chryslers

  10. On your zinc install–the shaft zins are too close to the struts, this restrict the waterflow to the strut bearing, install about 3 fingers forward of the strut and aaout 3 fingers spacing from each other–Mikey, in Belfair

  11. Coral Gables Florida 🌴🇺🇸 USA DEFINITELY not my part of the country but enjoying the boating anyway 👌 🏄

  12. If the boat is structurally sound well with a lot of elbow grease it will make a he'll of a boat at the right price

  13. The original press metal rocker covers on the 6-71 Detroits can be problematic for oil leaks, but there are updated cast aluminum versions most people find dont leak. She sounds very sweet on the water ))

  14. Not sure about "bridging the connection between hot and ground"… That would look like the fourth of July and leave you with a melted screwdriver 😂
