As an 18-year-old, I worked for a hotel in London as a trainee maintenance assistant as I was 2 years into my apprenticeship to be a sparkie, most of my shift was spent changing and cleaning lightbulbs and assisting the qualified members of the team but I was constantly being hit on by middle-aged men, it was like these rich guys turn 45 and suddenly they want young men for sex, the hotel's policy was no fraternizing with guests but lots of the staff did including managers, it was a nice clean well-paid job but I was glad to leave in the end and I know how it feels to be treated like a piece of meat, like your just an object and nothing more.
