  9. Late to watch this tour, but here's a comment about the Volvo IPS engines forward. Brooks Boatworks did a Brooks 34 with Volvo IPS back in 2011. We put the engine's midship under the helm area floor and ran shafts back to the pods near the stern. The balance of the boat was great. We had a bow thruster as well but really didn't need it with the joystick. We also built a brand named EastPort which had a 32' Downeast model. Great dayboat with overnight capability if you wanted.

  13. well I'm surprised that i liked this one, I did not think was going to but i did. The engine space was a tad tight but not sure how to fix that,

  16. When people with money spend some of it on things this wonderful – we ALL benefit. I may never own this, but I've seen it. Wondered at its technology. Adored it's look. Imagined experiencing the boat. All because someone gambled enough money to build this boat and others are glad to spend their money to own it. AND they are willing to share. Pretty special.   22. PBMY are great Australian boats. Not named after Palm Beach, Florida but after Palm Beach, Sydney, Australia and founded in 1995. So the design has nothing to do with 'downeasters' but more 'retro-commuter'. When Grand Banks bought Palm Beach Motor Yachts in 2014 from founder Mark Richards, they also made him CEO of the combined GB Group. Mark Richards also happens to be a former America's Cup yachtsman and a 7-time winning skipper of the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race on Wild Oats XI.
