You were flying! Presumably you had all possible weight (engine, fuel tank, water tank etc), off the boat? The waterline of my boat seems to keep rising (and my boat ever slower).
Why the hell do you feel you have to utter in some splatering frenchyamerican .? Ça c est très très triste pour plusieurs raisons. La première en tant que français ( ton accent te trahie).Ton aventure solo en haute mer demande toujours du sang froid,du courage,du savoir faire etc etc.,Qualités qui devraient inspirer les jeunes , à commencer la voile sur un Optimisme avant la réalisation de la grande aventure des océans. Pourquoi donc toi, qui te monte en temps que: 'Entraîneur de survie océan-courage' ne veux tu pas inspirer nos petits français qui eux se contentent jalousement de parler [et comprendre] français , notre si belle langue bien à nous et bien à toi.

I'm a sailor and stuff like this is imo so meaningless that it truly blows my mind. So you got there some hours before someone else instead of enjoying the trip. I don't get why you wont just buy a trimaran and spend half the trip dislocating your shoulder patting your back if speed means everything to you.
But I guess this is what matter to people in a western world where people don't have problems.
