Hi Robbie, we are so sorry to hear what you are facing. Would it be possible to sail/be towed to Airlie maybe staying on anchor waiting for the parts to come in to save a few dollars? There are two places for lift out there so you can be on the hard if need be. Is there anything we who are in Melbourne can do to support you? It's good to find another ketch to follow. Bugger about your gearbox. We went through very similar dramas with ours a few years ago. It cost us a lost month in Bundaberg. Cheers!

Stumbled across these videos and love them. well shot with audio picking up the waves and winches etc, feels like you're there yourself.
This episode was hard to watch at the end. Sail life can turn on you at anytime, glad you made it through though.
