A lot of these comments disparaging the local system is very arrogant. Hub didn’t understand the system which was the cause not embezzling and corruption. These kind of comments just show how ignorant and self important pampered westerners are. Hub dealt with it superbly and learned something along the way.

Black river has an incredible rafting tour. I remember going when the rafts were made of bamboo and pushed by a worker similar to the gondolas in Venice.
I don't understand why they harassed you so much. I also don't understand why and how they would, and could force you literally, to go back somewhere like that for no reason at all.
