Let's Dance Sailing Story #75 - Slamming And Jamming

  1. Loving the tour of the Greek islands with you guys. Beautiful video with some amazing scenery. Fantastic as always. Thanks.

  2. Another great video if a bit rocky, we are hoping to be picking up our Tax unpaid boat for export later this year and will hopefully be spending a few years in the Mediterranean exploring. We were looking at getting a Financial Independent Visa 12 months in Greece and have been trying to find out about Vat implications but are finding conflicting information. Do you happen to know of any good information sites we can look at? Have you looked into this for Greece we understand the 18 month rule but we are unsure of the implications of this type of Greek Visa.. Hopefully you can point me in the right direction. Please keep the videos coming we really enjoy the filming and music. Regards Pete and Debbie

  3. You guys have the VERY BEST music of all the sailing channels. We so enjoy your videos. We have similar tastes in music. Thank you for sharing your lives with us. You are a joy to watch.

  4. Thank you once again for producing these videos without any financial compensation. We love following your adventures on sea and land. Any chance of getting a detailed rundown on where things stand with your Elba: what has broke, what you like, what you don't, what would you change, etc.?

  5. Hi guys good to see you again looks like your enjoying the new boat and didn`t scratch it while doing that difficult park. Hey when are you guys coming home love to meet you two. cheers.

  6. a bit of info that might be of use in Bastimentos, some little, old, Indigenous women visited our rental house. It was like they had telepathy as we were at our wits ends! Luckily my husband's first language is Spanish, so we were able to understand that they had this homemade, ROASTED coconut oil for sale that they made themselves. We were desperate of course (as anyone who has experienced the torment that the no-see-ums can pose!) so we bought a bottle for such a fair price…and I tell you, it worked! Not only that, but we still have some left as we're only 2 ppl travelling periodically. And the remedy makes sense: these bugs are so small, so their probiscus (feeding organ) cannot penetrate the layer of oil when it's on your skin. Of course it won't remedy the buggers on board, but this roasted coconut oil definitely helps to keep them from being able to get a bite out of you And from what I've learned since, perhaps any natural oil on the skin may work, but I think the key to this Indigenous version, is that it's roasted coconut oil. It was a medium brown colour (so not too roasted) and definitely smelled roasted/cooked. For me, Indigenous wisdom is usually best in any particular region, as the people have figured out remedies over millennia.

  7. Great music Marita and Michael. Bloody Slade. Showing my age now. More of it please. And i should say thanks for the video.Their best album was "Slade Alive". Pretty sure that they all have their bums pointing to the ground. Stay safe Chris
