Wow…..that was an awesome sail .Thank you for sharing and taking us with your.Congratulations for an epic sail …..wow
You keep talking about Cape of good Hope and Cape of Storms are they not at the bottom of South America
👍
Cape is truly beautiful
It's pronounced Cape Agulhas as in "seagull"
Loved this riveting segment, thanks and good luck.
Exceptional sailing video. From passage planning, perfect jibe execution, adding hatch boards. Well done. What are the devices mounted on the pole off the stern?
What a superb video. Sailing south to the Cape of Good Hope! This is where I was born and where I surfed.
God video hope you have a great time
Humanity vs God words.amen.
I have only been in Cape Town in calm weather, mainly around Christmas. It makes it extremely hard to believe the name Cape of Storms can apply. The strongest winds I have experienced is around Port Elizabeth – by land, never by sea (yet!)
well done and enjoy
Bravoooo ! Congratulations, and thankmyou for the excelent video. I do not know ifmwouldmdare doing that passage on scary waters
east löndön xD vvhy dönt THey ever use indignitti näimce??
Great episode . Well done ,the sailing passage looked Epic fun !
Cool video, thanks! Just a bit of pedantry…. Agulhas is pronounced "A-gull-ass", as in sea-gull.
So sorry you got ripped off on your trip to Cape Point. It's disgusting that tourists should travel so far to be exploited in this manner.
Great video! Thanks for sharing such an exciting sail! You two are amazing!
Just found your channel. Our farm can see the sea about 120km East of Port Elizabeth so we sort of watched you go by in our imagination. We often look out for yachts offshore…but rarely see them. Enjoy SA…one day we will also cross oceans 🙂
Watching the two of you SAIL is the best of my month, you aren't marina rats, ya'll sail! Love you both ❤️
To Neptune! And many more! Matt wasn't ready for that one! 😂
Amazing voyage around the world ⛵ 🌎
Another fabulous video.
Your camera was able to capture the size of the seas a couple times. Nicely done.
In one sequence you performed a very well executed gybe, totally in control. Good work.
Thanks for sharing 🙂
AL
Vancouver, Canada.
Excellent video guys new sailor here watching your videos shows you can do it
You know, once you pass west of Ghana, you have circumnavigated because you've rounded back to the same latitude, right?
Congrats on your accomplishments rounding the cape😎
Éxitos. Buena navegación.
Awesome 😎
Very nicely done video.
Stunning cinematography and superb narration and editing. You’ve achieved the level of an art form with this. Erik Anderaa from NBJS is the only other you tuber I can compare this to, for sheer joy of sailing and stunning scenery. So glad I found this channel.
I respect you for many things…
As a South African this makes me happy to know that someone loves my country so much to sail to it. Thanks for sharing sailors and good luck on your future voyages.
Awesome, what an achievement, well done to you both.
Good choice choosing houtbay harbour…idyllic
Thanks Florence, great episode
The cape of good hope is it's name and it's not even close to the danger of the horn .
I worry about your safety Amy. With a sea state as unpredictable and turbulent as that ands in such a well know area for ship loss due to sea state. I'm not seeing a centerline Jackline and teather from your PFD ot the Jackline. Please put my mind at ease.
Glad to see the washboards put in before you had a rogue wave hit you and flood below decks.
Hout Bay is where I went on my first boat, to view the seals on seal island when I was a boy 🙂
Your videos are criminally underwatched. Very professional production. I feel like I'm watching a big-budget reality show. A++!!!
👍⛵🎣🌊💯
What an awesome sailing video! Enjoyed every minute of it! 👌 Well done to you both!
Beautifully documented and sailed!
