1. Super! "Bucket and chuck it" system does look tricky… 🙂 To avoid confusion you can always label one bucket with "S" for shower while the other one with "S" for shite 🤣

   Great to see you back. Hope all is well and will be following you once more. I too have a twin rudder system and experience the same problem with prop wash (or rather lack of!) Your observation about light for night navigation surprises me though as I have a "feu de hune" (would that be a mast headlight in English?) which is bright white light about halfway down the mast and which I was thought was obligatory for when you are underway on the engine at night, so I am surprised your boat doesn't have one. Good luck with your new adventures and I shall be following them when I can.

3. Welcome back Patrick … so good to see you on the water again. Being just a few years older than you, it gives me added confidence that I have more years of sailing left in me!

   We did install a spray hood before our first coastal trip out of San Francisco. Does not collapse for visibility, but has very convenient and strong handholds. When we purchased it the owner of the business said he had always thought about having a statue made honoring all the women who insisted their husbands install a dodger. It was a joint decision for us, and one we’ve never regretted.

8. The bucket system is the most effective so far 😅 I have one in my Light Crest, 25 foot wooden boat, but is black for the pi, and another black for the shower 🤣, or maybe is the same bucket… Haha
