Great episode! Such a beautiful place. Being sea sick is miserable so at least the destination is a partial compensation.
Suva has moved since I was last there! I think your map at 2.40 points to Savusavu on Vanua Levu
Hi folks, thanks again for this one, pretty scenery. Keep a rocking and rolling and enjoy and stay safe.
Isabelle the Wind Whisperer ! "Right ere" (Ear) sorry but that was your "left ere" (Ear)
BUT another great video.
Have a nice rest after that passage! That unmarked wreck just under the water where you left looked pretty sketchy, definitely need to be careful when there are things like that around!
Yea, Hydrovane is back in service.
Welcome back guys, looked like a nice passage – would have been better if the wind had been where it was expected. You’re well away from the strife in Eastern Europe.
Living in a place with so much sunshine this was very nice to watch. Sunshine but not warm in the winter times. Fun Show.
"Cold water" how can that be? Hmmm, What temp's are we calling cold?? Excellent episode guy's!! <3
Great episode guys. Luckily the destination was worth all the rolling. fair winds and following seas Merewether.
What a beautiful, unique place, can't wait to see more of it on the next video. Well done!
You are indeed a very lucky guy to have not only found your life partner but will have magnificent shared memories, well done both…

Thanks for another great episode it was so nice to meet you both your even nicer in person.
Then to end up on a dive with someone that knew you just shows what a small world it is.
Stay safe
Another very enjoyable sailing adventure. Stay groovy and stay safe.
"Sailing AWAY from the worlds PROBLEMS"
Such a noble sentiment. And not only running away, but being PAID for engaging in YEARS of mindless escapism. Just the type of inspiration we could all learn from.
Nice to see you guys back with a vid. Can’t wait to see the Lau group.
I started this video the day it released as usual and got about 5mins in before family life put it on pause…After a late night working, the last 15mins were amazing. Wishing you both the best as when you both work hard and conquer, so does the Merewether crew
Much respect from Northern California!
I spent two years in Suva and have to say I enjoyed the place. I did take my boat into the Yasawas a lot and kept it moored in Pacific Harbour and later near Nadi, but since I had a job in Suva I couldn't go for extended sojourns in and around the Yasawas as often as I would have liked. I remember Brooke Shields making the "Blue Lagoon" and the film location was "preserved" for many years as a tourist attraction. I interviewed Brooke on Nanuya in September 1979, she was 15 or 16 at the time and turned out to be a very personable and likeable kid. She caught dengue fever and was taken to hospital in Sydney before returning to Fiji six weeks or so later, I think. For years after, tourists could spend a night in the "hut where Brooke slept" but I have no idea if it's still there. Probably not. In the end it was originally just a movie prop and I suppose it wouldn't have lasted forever. Nevertheless Nanuya (Turtle Island) is a lovely place and I imagine it's still worth visiting. Ample anchoring just off the beach, there used to be a jetty for float planes as well.
Great video guys what a cool group of islands. Stay safe….Fred in Texas.
cruising on a sail boat…
