Vera is adorable and obviously a very smart little girl. What an amazing way to spend your childhood. Two thumbs up! 👍🏻 👍🏻
I want to see a video in fifteen years of Vera, Sierra from SV Delos, and Lennie and Darwin from La Vag all getting together on an adventure.
Those beaches and islands will be gone when the little one is an adult.
Vera is the cutest little sailor girl. It’s so beautiful. It’s my dream to live there some day. Hopefully sooner than later.
sees map image of Barbuda Looks like a manatee. ^_^
Of course its easy to understand why these islands asked for ‘indépendance’ from the UK back in the 60s and 70s .. to a large extent it was so that a few privileged people could get their hands on power and money .. which explains why nothing has been done to rebuild Barbuda .. as you know well these places are so different to the French islands which are properly run, with little or no corruption and generally for the benefit of the whole population and not just a corrupt few
Great to see you guys made it south…funny…this video seems to be the first I’ve watched of yours that is in color….beautiful family even without a tan!…momma is looking great!…dad smiles more often!…baby is big, and she is gorgeous…
I hope you stick around the warmer waters even though you’re far from home…
Oh…love the yacht!..she is really a fine one…hope she enjoys the climate!…cheers!
don't discount the air density when it's cold vs when warm. It makes a large difference on how it affects the sailing vessel.
Johan, Malin,
A moment of bliss with the cherished firstborn asleep is priceless for any parents. They never stay so young. 😊
It was sad seeing Barbuda nearly leveled by Hurricane Irma. The rebuilding issues explained reflect what Cape Cod's natives (including islands Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket) have faced for many decades: The "retaining the local charm" vs. "bringing the tourism" economic dilemma Barbuda faces. The solution often sees the "big corporation" interests environmentally zoned to very specific locations already long developed, plus also limiting how and what they develop {e.g., adapt to preserve the ambience that attracts people, add vital infrastructure, limit traffic flow, respect local cultural norms in architecture}. Usually, that prevents large scale resorts, prohibits 'big box' warehouse stores, and prefers "Mom & Pop" business models. Environmental sensitivity to fresh water supply is a key tourism accommodation driver, too. No big corporations can just come in to bulldoze and build.
Blessings,
S/V Windwalker
I recall very well watching the news about the hurricane stalling over Barbuda. It looked horrible. How many lives were lost.?
Really enjoy your beautiful videos! Barbuda looks so serene! I love watching Vera she’s the same age as my granddaughter Meryn 💜🇨🇦❌⭕️
You need Beach wheels for your dinghy. We have 30cm rubber wheels which means it's easy to walk the dinghy 100metres if the tide changes. Ours are from Beachmaster in NZ.
Wow! Beautiful places. Beautiful production quality. Beautiful people.
How does anyone think building a golf course on Barbuda is a good idea? Is it a crazy-golf course? Anyway, love your channel and you must visit Ireland if you haven't already done so
It is very risky to build anything in Barbuda ….. it is in "hurricane alley" …. and it's elevation is just a few feet.
Great show today. Thank you 4 sharing 🙂
Imagine if you will. Take a two-year COVID break from this wonderful channel, come back and wonder why I left at all, only to discover a kid, with teeth and all. Cheers and Congratulations !!
Boy Vera needs to meet Lenny, blonde beauties
Gotta watch out for the other boats as some will pump out their sewage even when they know others would swim near them.
Do you have a toilet on the boat if you Need to pee?
Mollin looks very happy & relax!!!!
Another lovely sailing adventure with your lovely family. Stay groovy and stay safe.
Lovely video..! Gorgeous island. Cheers, fair winds and joy always be yours. 💕
Vera is having the time of her life. You can tell she just loves this voyage. Not to mention she gets all the attention from Mom and Dad.
Great to see all is going well. Sadly I have crossed over to the long distance Trawlers (a 50 footer) But did keep my 21 foot adventure sailboat. ION, The little one is getting big. It wasn’t that long ago in San Francisco when you announced her. How time flys.
We enjoyed your video very much, the quality is the very best, thank you for sharing. Safe travels.
missed you guys for 3 weeks – been cruising myself to the Azores and Iceland on a 62k ton liner, hope you are all well XxX
That beach 😍
Crazy family, with a child on such a small boat in the middle of storms.
It's a shame people just won't let themselves enjoy things the way they are .
That’s one lucky kid 😊
👍👍
Caribbeans are nice, but not paradise. Greetings from Martinique.
How foolish? Vera's being charged $75 lazy dollars as a tourist, not a crew member on RAN II. Where the other children aboard the Swedish Armada charged as well? Shame on them!
Would give an arm for that beach and meal. No doubt the best boating channel going.
