I have very little money but I can see mountains and the sea from my window… I have friends and family, can go outside and breathe clean air, and I feel rich. 40. The city I live closest to, has one tall building(over 25 stories). There has been a jump in buildings being built now, because property values went sky high(hundred thousand dollar homes are worth a million now). Rents are beyond the reach of ordinary folks, and homelessness has become a terrible reality for people with minimum wage jobs. Only professional couples can afford a home now. Most homes have in-law suites to rent out too. It's sad to see such dichotomy between the rich and the poor.
