12. I love love and love sailing boats of every kind, but this one is so special! The history, engineering, craftsmanship, silence, skill it takes to manouver it through the water, and the fact that it can move just with the help of wind, all these things just impress me so much. A ship like this can last multiple lifetimes and won't harm us, animals or the environment while sailing. I can't imagine what an honor it must be to be the captain of such a treasure!. Also, I've just discovered your channel and the quality of this video is so good, great job! And seeing a channel with over 2.5 million subscribers where comments still get answered is great, makes me feel like you really care about what you viewers have to say.

    Beautiful sail boat… This video turned out to be an ad for selling / chartering this boat… Oh well, It's a very nice boat. If you are trying to sell her or charter her, why then do you have someone who doesn't know the names of anything onboard explaining and giving your tour? 1, There are no floors on boats they are called decks or soles. 2. That "compass thing" is a binnacle. 3. Ropes are called lines… 4. Pulleys are called blocks. 5. And that "throttle control" design is actually an Engine Order Telegraph. 6. The word "Authentic" should n-e-v-e-r be used to describe anything on a boat. That's just a lazy douche bag word. 7. Those skylights are a butterfly hatch. 8. That copper-like material is Bronze. 9. Those "drains" in the toe rail are scuppers. 10. A thousand square meters of sail? I don't think so… maybe a few hundred… 11. That "anchoring mechanism" is a windlass. 12. There are no windows, there are port lights.
    
    Oh, and BTW, "good stuff" is another lazy and douchey way to describe anything on board a boat. 13. There aren't any ceilings on a boat. Boats have overheads. Boats have lockers not closets and heads not bathrooms. "Built in" is another unnecessary word. EVERYTHING is built in.. The helm is built in. The rudder is built in. The masts, booms, spreaders, chain plates, ladders, and heads are all built in.. Duh… So why say built in at all? Anyway, I think that someone who's explaining your boat and giving a tour should show some respect and take the time to learn, know, and use the proper terminology. Again; Nice boat.

25. Thanks for your excellent video Enes. A fitting tribute to a remarkable and truly elegant, 3 masted schooner. One can only marvel at the original craftmanship and the care lavished on it by all, to keep it so immaculate inside and out. I can only try and surmise and perhaps echo a little of what you must have felt when stepping aboard for the first time…? For me however, the
    "Piece de Resistance" must be when one hoists the sails for the first time. I can only try to imagine the spine-tingling sensation, as the sails initially flap when they begin to catch the breeze, perhaps one feels a slight tremble beneath ones feet, as though a giant had begun to waken from their slumbers. And then somehow coming to life, as the vessel starts to heel slightly with her sails now catching the breeze, begins to surge eagerly forward. What a memorable experience. Thank You…!

31. My home town of Corpus Christi, Tx, my home town is now Haleiwa Oahu, Hi. That is an absolute stunning sailboat. I guesstimate that 55 meters works out to about 165 ft.
