3. Everything about that place is a scam! We had a yearly meeting there for about 200 people and they started in with trying to add all these tests and extra charges after I had in writing exactly what they needed. I ended up calling their Tourism Board over what to me was “systemic” and we were already paying $700 a night. I stayed two weeks longer after the group went to the “Sandals” and that’s when I really found out all the ways they were jacking up bills and lying about transportation. We were spending about $20 a ride to go into “town” and found out it was 25 cents for the bus they told us didn’t exist! I also realized we were in a “Bubble” after I was on my own and went to the local market. They didn’t allow any natives on the resort property or the beach unless they were on their way to or from work. I did get to go on a day Sail on the Wooden Ship that was in the movie “Roots”, which they evidently turned into a party ship so it wasn’t very authentic. It’s supposedly the number one Honeymoon Spot but we fought the whole time! LOL! Honestly, it was a lot more fun when I was in town meeting people and seeing real things instead of tourist destinations! The Pitons were beautiful and the bays were colorful with fishing boats and buoys. The local food was wonderful too!

24. Id hate to say it but boom furler is a 1000x better than in mast furling!!! whoever thought in mast furling was a good idea is a dick! Boom furling you have unlimited reefing points in all weather.
