Acum, suntem într-o călătorie de explorare cu navigație, încercând să ocolim lumea la bordul JOY. Patricia nu avea experiență anterioară în navigație, dar era dispusă să învețe din mers. Acum niciunul dintre noi nu suntem prea tehnici și nu știe să repare lucrurile prea mult, super bogați sau pensionari, dar am avut mereu vise mari. This was an exciting night, but it was not the variety of excitement which is normal for Sailing Joy.
Your decision to dock at the marina was very good. Even with the line fouling the propeller, you handled everything professionally and stayed safe.
Now, it is time for a good glass of wine. Perhaps treating yourselves and dining at one of the wonderful restaurants or cafes which are a feature of the area.

Thanks for sharing Ed and Patricia. As you said, Port Soller is known for trouble. I am happy we passed it after taking a look at it, but to be honest the whole Balearics was a mess when it comes to anchoring. Going through the islands during high season was a bit stressful. Thanks God the beauty of the area compensated for everything. You captured it very well… looking forward to the video on the survey!

Hello Ed and Patricia! Love your video's. Our Lagoon 46 is in St Raphael and my dealer just informed me that Lagoon has preemptively been checking all 46 for structural problems (bulkheads) as they do not want to risk any negative publicity like they have had from the bulkhead issue of the 450. My 46 (hull no. 14) Les Jumeaux has recently received a factory upgrade to enhance structural stiffness by Lagoon. I would certainly ask for this as it will likely affect resale value in the future. Hi Ed and Patricia. This yearly inspection is new to me . As you know I have spoken with my Lagoon dealer Ancasta in the uk a month ago about the stringers they said they need to install and help support the bulkheads they never mentioned anything about a yearly inspection interesting. I have noticed a slight Crack in the gel coat in the corner starboard floor under the cockpit sliding doors . As you may remember from the Facebook page I'm still waiting for Lagoon to send me the reinforcement procedure to share . Hope you are both well . Great content as always. SV Reality.

Wow, sound odd. Sounds like an inconvenience by Lagoon.
Better safe than sorry going to the marina. And watch for dangerous third parties. They should install some moorings there. About the inspection, I believe it is a good thing as they can prevent any trouble as seen in the 450.
We also had two terrible nights in Soller. High winds roar down from the mountains every night, it seems. Lots of boats dragging anchor, and a 52 Lagoon, a charter boat hit us. We hadn't thought of putting out fenders at anchor before–but now realize that it's necessary given the poor skills of charter boat sailors. BTW, we anchored near you at Campulongu (Southern Sardinia). We're on SV JOLI (Canada). Now in Malta–if you haven't been here yet–it's a must-see!
