I actually use the tag as a potential anti theft protection. Its hidden in the boat (the fiberglass does not seem to interefere much with it) and so if someone were to take the boat unless they would cross the ocean with it if they remain coastal I would know where it is ballpark. And if their iPhone warns them they are near a tag they would get nervous because now they know I can track them and good luck finding it 🙂
This is like a Carry on Movie fun though
Elayna, you are Anne Bonny reincarnated.
Coming from the medical field myself this is so important and I'm so glad you guys took this serious. There's so much we can do to help ourselves until we can get better help. Good on you guys✌️💜
mental health issues derived from being far away from people at lengths of time? I find that is part of paradise.
Elayna: "Do you want me to wee on it?" LMAO.. made me spit my drink out.
Strange that you havent got more views for this video because this kind of stuff is what people are really interested in. in Germany a late night show trippled the viewers when the showmaster changed a wheel of a Porsche on stage.
Awesome vlog and very interesting. Would hate to know how painful 😞 a jellyfish sting is
We are so close to you, just south on HHI. Inspired by your family, my sister, Mom and I are learning to sail, buying a boat, selling the house and most everything in it and sailing off with our German Shepherd, Severe Macaw and African Grey. We are absolute beginners to sailing and YouTube and have so much to learn. Thank you for all that you share!
Excellent and inspiring. We coastal sail but accidents can happen any time!
I grew up on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland and I can tell you I’m not a fan of the murky water either.
Just checking in and hoping that all of you and the boat are safe in Charleston? The weather has been bizarre this year and it is worrying that your boat will be in a safe harbor.
Why not just attach the air tag to a float? Less jellyfish stings …
This is one of my favourite Videos you’ve posted in a long time. Well done and great to remind everyone about the safety that goes along with the glamour of sailing in the Caribbean lol. Well done!!
What an extremely valuable episode for the seaward watchers. I have done some sailing with a little blue water but never was taught "man overboard rescue". So good that you have highlighted this aspect about sailing, with its frailties. Well done.
Excellent video, so informative.
Vietnam is getting a cat5. Hope your boat will be okay.
Great video guys, I love you keep tackling the often over looked topics and then conduct demonstrations.
This is a brilliant episode…great input into boot safety rarely seen….and backed by professional boating safety people>
why didn't you put the tag on a fender and toss the fender over? Fenders drift only slightly faster than a real body. No damage from jellyfish or sharks either….safety first
Riley: It's a good looking boat…it really is lol
While in the Coast Guard we were taught turn hard till the compass reads 90 degreed from your original course, then turn back hard till your the compass reads the reciprocal course that you were on before the man overboard and you will be very close to the same track line you were on. Sailing shows a figure 8 not sure what the best method is.
Thanks for the entertaining and learning video, Elena and Riley but am I missing something, why wasn't Riley and friend afraid of the bull shark! Catch you next time and God bless you! Jim, over and out.
Next; train your man over board manoeuvre without engine and assume the person is unconscious
Can I use those flairs to heat my bath water when the power is out? Lol
Lol “dis is fast boAT” your a lucky man Riley.
Good info thanks
