1. Greetings Matt & Amy, now that you're heading for St. Helena Island you may want to do some research.
What in , you say…It's Hurricane Season in the central Atlantic Ocean. Fiona just came through Dominic Republic with extensive damage, then north out to sea smashing into Nova Scotia, Canada with extensive damage.
The storms start off the western coast of Africa (central Africa) and head west going NNW along the Northern East side of South America then heading NNW along the Mexican coast and the Virgin Islands…then either north to Bermuda or NNW into the Gulf of Mexico striking Florida or and the Texas coast to Florida, USA.
Currently "Ian" is developing in the region off the coast of Mexico, heading NNW.
The meteorologist that forcast these storms have stated that because of "Climate Change" the Hurricanes are staying threatening longer. Canada hasn't been hit with a Hurricane in decades, especially a category 4 which ripped havoc through Nova Scotia.
Been followimg you guys since the South Pacific when you were stuck because of Covid-19.

    Be safe and stay dry…

  2. Congratulations 🎉. What a stunning achievement. Having followed you around on this trip, it has been great to see you develop and evolve. You should be very proud of yourselves. Hopefully there is still much to come.

  3. Congrats on your circumnavigation. Keep sailing and having more life affirming experiences with the people of the world. As I found out after returning home to the U.K. after years away, things here have changed and not really improved. Loving your videos: best wishes from us here in Portsmouth. 😀👍❤️

  4. Did I ever mention how much I like your "tag-team" narrations! Your diction is so easy to understand, which is so indicative of the British. You have a great eye for converting the scenery into a scene for us! We follow you because we, too, want to see the world from the deck of a sailboat, and the views are leaving us in awe! And I agree that while the physical world can be beautiful to behold, it is usually the people we encounter along the way that will make or break it for us on the voyage.

  5. Wonderful to watch as always. You two are amazingly adventurous and great video producers. Thanks for sharing your travels. Just wondering how you download that video in mid Ocean?

  6. So, so good! I have followed you from the start. Your story and the way you tell and share it makes for compelling viewing. You are streets ahead of all other sailing channels. Thank you!

  7. great video and congratulations on your circumnavigation! I have recently started following you and after this video I am definitely going to go back to day one of your trip and see the whole 6 years.

  8. You both spoke of sleep deprivation or the difficulty to sleep while making passage. Have you tried using a hammock? It should help with the motion as the boat moves about you. You can set one up so that it negates a pitching motion by having it strung abreast vs longitudinally.

Anyway, congratulations on reaching your prime meridian!

  9. Congratulations on the milestone!!!!! Loved the reminiscing! ❤️ Always nice to step back and realize your blessings and growth as people, as sailors, and as a couple. Well done! Cheers!🥂Safe voyage!

  10. Mallacca strait – Pain in the but , Well done , A little bigger boat with good sailing gear 42 to 46 Makes life on board so mush better & your daily runs that little bit better .

  11. Hey!!! have I caught you out? Need big wave images….go to Cape Point??? As in 14.01 in the video above!! Thats the CAPE!!!! Are you testing your audience for how much they are concentrating??? This is not completely fair on you, as I am a Capetonian and that profile is in my hard drive!!! Fess up??? I turned 18 on a yacht at St Helena so am going to enjoy this lots.

  12. Well done guy's, congratulations on the technical crossing, but I do agree with Amy on that.
Great film and editing work on this one, beautiful.
    Thank you

  13. This reminds me of Forest Gump when he ran and ran and ran from one side of the country to the other and one day he stopped and looked at his followers and said,,,,I think I’ll go home now 🎉

  14. Hi to you both and ofcourse Florence
    I started following during lockdown.
Missed the fact that you had been at Port Solent and left from Portsmouth Harbour.
You are so good and natural with the camera. The cometary is great, thank you for taking the time to share your ups and downs over the trip.
Looking forward to your next update
    Moira.

  15. I've sailed over a goodish part of this planet.. To my mind, your most accomplished success was finding the right lady to accompany you on your travels.. hang on to her.. she's a rare find..
