JB Weld is incredible stuff. I once remanufactured an engine gearbox case half on a motorcycle using that stuff after having a chain break and sending it into (through) said engine case.
I wish someday that Marelon would sell a home epoxy mix that would be like the same glass-reinforced plastic they make their through-hulls and seacocks out of but for DIY Marelon projects. That stuff is great and having the ability to mold your own Marelon stuff would be fantastic.
How blown up was the Honda engine?

And the greatest of respect for having a go at the truss rod in the bass….. man that shot of you attacking the fretboard with a hot iron and a blunt instrument….aaaarrrrggghhhh ! you’re a lot braver man than me
